This whole Oklahoma losing\ West Virginia on our tails thing makes me so nervous. Should I be worried even if MU "takes care of business" ?

Whitlock doesn't have a vote. De'armond does. Or however you spell it.

Whitlock doesn't have a vote in it.
DeArmond does and he was the only 1 to vote them 1. He put KU as 2.

Barker Davis, Craig James and Doug Lesmerises voted KU #1

Keegan, who writes for The Lawrence Journal World voted KU #3 by the way...

Anyong Bluth
11-18-2007, 03:10 PM
Rich Kaipust - out of Omaha voted West Virg. #1 - and the only one that did. Does someone not like KU and MU stealing NU glory?

The Nebraska guy voted WVU first:

Rich Kaipust Omaha (NE) World-Herald;

1 West Virginia
2 LSU
3 Kansas
4 Missouri
5 Arizona St.

This guy is supposed to be pretty bitter about NU's collapse. His vote for WVU could be labeled as a spite vote.

It doesn't matter. If Missouri beats Kansas, they will rise to No. 2, regardless of what that bitter butthurt Nebraska douchebag thinks. And if they don't, it's over.

Anybody got an e-mail address for that prick?

WVU has been 1 spot ahead of MU in both the coaches and AP polls all along. Mizzou actually jumped WVU in the AP poll this week and is still 1 behind WVU in the coaches poll.

Kansas moves up to No. 2 in standings
FOXSports.com, Updated 12 minutes ago Week after week, the BCS standings at least hinted at the possibility that an undefeated Kansas team could somehow be left out of the national championship mix.

Not anymore.
Oregon's loss Thursday, combined with Texas Tech's upset of Oklahoma on Saturday, have left the Jayhawks firmly ensconced in the No. 2 spot and seemingly in control of their own destiny.

Wins over Missouri (No. 4 in the latest standings) and likely Big 12 title game opponent Oklahoma (No. 10) would in all certainty make the Jayhawks the least probable title game participant in the short history of the BCS.

Of course, looking that far ahead has proven difficult to do this college season.

In fact, Ohio State (No. 5 in the standings) is the only team that still harbors legitimate national championship hopes without a losable game left on the schedule. And that's only because the Buckeyes' regular season was completed Saturday with a 14-3 win at Michigan.

A quick rundown of the top teams' remaining schedule shows several potential stumbling blocks between now and BCS Selection Sunday on Dec. 2.

No. 1 LSU still has to get past a dangerous Arkansas team, then beat either Tennessee or Georgia in the SEC title game.

No. 2 Kansas has, as previously discussed, the toughest part of their schedule remaining in next Saturday's showdown with rival Missouri, then either Oklahoma or Texas in the Big 12 title game.advertisement
No. 3 West Virginia may have the easiest road remaining, but probably shouldn't look past Connecticut (No. 20 in the standings).

No. 4 Missouri, like Kansas, must survive Saturday's game in Kansas City and the Big 12 title game.

No. 6 Arizona State, the last of the one-loss teams from BCS conferences, has to beat a resurgent USC team, then avoid the upset against Arizona (something Oregon couldn't do Thursday night).
And while it won't be as big as Kansas-Missouri, there is another looming showdown with significant BCS implications No. 19 Boise St. at No. 15 Hawaii. Whoever emerges victorious from that WAC tilt could garner enough momentum in the standings to secure one of the at-large BCS bids.
