Finally found the stats for our offensive line. Stats, Inc. had them hidden away on another page this year.

Here's the breakdown:

McIntosh - 5.5 sacks allowed, 3 penalties, 15 yards

Waters - 3 sacks allowed, 1 penalty

Wiegmann - 1.5 sacks allowed, 2 penalties

Welbourn - 3 sacks allowed, 1 penalty

Niswanger - 1 sack allowed

Terry - 4 sacks allowed, 5 penalties

Turley - SIX SACKS ALLOWED, 2 penalties

That accounts for 24 of the 31 sacks. The right tackle spot has allowed TEN SACKS this year. Unbelievable. And Terry has 4 false starts. What a chump.

How many sacks has Black given up for the Texans?

Black hasn't played for the Texans.

We'd allow quite a few more sacks if we threw the ball down field. FWIW.

wonder who is responsible for the remaining 7 unaccounted for sacks.

Probably a couple on the running backs, a couple on unaccounted for blitzers...a couple on Huard...maybe more than a couple on Huard... :)

I don't trust their evaluation of whose actually responsible for giving up a sack.

Terry and Wiegmann have both given up more.

great find Goatse!

I thought Welbourn, Terry and Wiegmann were worse than their stats indicate.

When your QB falls into the fetal position before a lineman crosses the line of scrimmage, it's a little unfair to give blame to any one in particular on the O-line.

No doubt the Chiefs have to draft an offensive tackle this year.

I think Terry gets beat more than 4 times a game, let alone the season.

One question:

Why is GoChiefs so obssesed with Offensive Linemen's sacks?

For sure. I know in the Colts game it was Terry that gave up that sack causing Brodie to fumble.

So that would be saying Terry has given up only 3 other sacks all year long? :shake:

If you would have told me that Jordan Black would be laughing at the Chiefs o-line when we didn't re-sign him, I wouldn't have believed you.
