Considering the painted mud made it's first appearance of the year against Denver, and now MU/KU are gonna rip up the field Saturday....how crappy is the field gonna be Sunday?

I suppose if the turf is in really bad shape it would benefit Chokeland since about a third of their football field consists of bare dirt base paths.

They could play a game Saturday afternoon, have the KU/MU game Sat. night and the field would still be in better shape Sunday than it ever is in Oakland.

I'd venture to say that I'm one of your few consistent readers and/or one who actually enjoys them.

That said, and as much as I'm having fun with it, the editing needs work. The articles have potential if they weren't so high school-ish in non-content related quality.

No, it doesn't. Grammatically and technically, the articles on our site are extremely sound. That's an ENORMOUS change from what Warpaint was before I arrived.

For you to act like I don't know how to use the possessive is extremely annoying.

Well, we're all Chief fans, but when it comes down to two powerhouses duking it out in the game of the year or two sad sacks battling for the bottom of the worst division in the AFC, well, it's kind of hard to get too excited about the second one.

Maybe...maybe not.

But I (as a realist KU fan)....cant get upset...or even disappointed.

Anything after 8-0 has been icing on the cake for this year.

That said, I dont see either team being miles ahead of the other....so it wouldnt shock me if either team won.

Rock chalk.

I don't believe you know what you're talking about.

The content is decent. The spelling and grammar is near-perfect, considering ONE PERSON edits everything. Occasionally we make an error, but so does the Kansas City Star, and they have an EDITING STAFF.

In short, you've pissed me off.

Let's be honest about this. How many things that I've written over the last two years contained any reference to Star Wars? I can only think of one to be quite honest.

It appears that your criticism is completely invalid.

There's sure to be some scoring, so the endzones will be used. If there's rain, and they trample the endzone, it might cause players to slip during pregame warmups.

The redzone will definitely be used, and it could cause bigger problems. The punt returners will need to make sure they get set before catching the ball, so they aren't falling while running backwards.

The goldzone might have the same problems, so kickers need to be especially careful when they plant.

Back to the topic on hand. Since neither team runs the ball much it probably won't get torn up too much.

You're a little slow on the uptake there. I already admitted to those. I don't do it often. Perception is far from the reality where my writing is concerned. I ripped the Chiefs to shreds yesterday but no one seems to want to give me credit.
