I know it's early..but I guess optomism is the best cure for an ailing heart. Every fan group has something to be upset about...but let's look forward to next season. How will these three fare? Considering all three programs look to retain a ton of their current talent.

I'm not getting into Big 12 Championship talk..just the regular 12-game season, assuming all three schools have legitimate schedules. I won't pretend to be an expert on any of the other Big 12 teams, so Texas, A&M, NU, KSU, fans and so forth feel free to post your predictions.

Here goes:

Kansas 9-3
Missouri 10-2
Oklahoma 12-0

Just a guess, but feel free to weigh in and fans of other Big 12 programs feel free to fill me/us in on where you really stand and what you expect from your team next year.

Looks like a solid prediction to me.

I'd say 11-1 for Missouri... with the loss coming either to Illinois or at Texas.

Heh, a little too soon for that. Hopefully this new coach of yours can actually coach better than Callahan, which isn't too hard to do. *shrug*

KU will lose more than 3, they add Oklahoma, Texas Tech, and Texas to the schedule. Plus they go to South Florida in OOC, not to mention Mizzou as well. Mizzou has Illinois and a bowl bound Nevada team on the OOC schedule, but Nevada is in Columbia. Tigers does travel to Texas though. OU has an intresting OOC so far - Cincinnati at home and on the road to Washington. But they are loaded.

My picks:
Oklahoma 12-0
Mizzou 11-1
Texas 10-2
Kansas 7-5

Suprise team will be Nebraska IMO.

Looking at KU's schedule next year, I say 9, maybe 10 wins.

Dont you think you should wait and see who goes into the draft first?

I'm just saying Nebraska is too talented not to be considered as one of the favorites. Plus a ton of guys will be back.

Suprise team will be Nebraska IMO.The only Nebraska games I've watched it looks like Ganz is gonna be a pretty hellacious QB.

What year is he NU fans?

I don't even wanna think about it right now...

I think the Tigers will be strong, though.

The only player Mizzou could lose is Coffman but since he got hurt doubt that would happen.
