Well I think this should be the nail in the coffin for even the diehards at a realistic chance at a playoff spot.

Our best scenario is to give Croyle lots of experience and tank the last 4 games. We won't be able to get the #1 pick, but we should be able to at least secure top 10 and if everything falls into place we could even look at the top 5.

No need to tank the last 4.

They could give maximum effort and not win another game.

#2 is a very real possibility going into the Jets game. Loser of that might end up #2.

Here, Here. But not sold on Croyle. How good is he if he could'nt beat out a career back-up? Go for Brian Brohm out of Louisville. His stock dropped with the disappointing season of a first year coach there. We may be able to snag him.

I am all for a high draft pick.
Dont know if any of the OT warrant a high round pick. We may end up trading that pick for a mid 1st and a 2nd.

If KC does that I'll be pissed!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you really don't want a high pick for that reason, stop watching. That means you believe this team can't draft right which means they'll never win.

I also don't think Croyle could ever make it through 16 games.

Sadly I agree.

Croyle is a backup, IMO, but we will find out for sure.

Right now, we're sitting with the 7th pick with 4 games to go.

If Oakland wins today (winning 14-7 at half) we move to 6th.

Assuming we don't win another game, I think we could end up as high as 2nd.

All the teams above us (besides Miami) have 3 wins.

With the 2nd pick in the 2008 NFL Draft, the Kansas City Chiefs select......

I wonder what his injury rating on Madden is.....a 2? He gets hurt when guys just run past.

#2 is a very real possibility going into the Jets game. Loser of that might end up #2.

Even if we drop all of the rest of our games, we have less than a 5% chance at the second overall pick. Now if the Raiders win, that will change.

every team that drafts in the top 10 gets their fair shares of Ryan Sims.
