I'm not proud. I believe in the Kansas City Chiefs. I'm NOT a bandwagon fan. I'll still watch...thick or thin. I might not be as happy as the current colts, patriots fan. But our time is coming. And when that time comes I will proudly say that I am not a bandwagon fan.

Go Chiefs!!!!!!

I'm pretty sure anyone still here is not a bandwagoner, this season has been bad to the definition, worst season since I started liking the chiefs (1998) I was five, and cryed every game during their 6 game losing streak.
That 1999 loss to the raiders was killing.

I will buy their gear if it looks good i never really go to the games. In the end. What the else can I do that is interesting to me, that envokes passions from my youth (both playing football and watching) and gives me a reason to kick back with a cold one on sundays.

Been following the Chiefs since 1974 and I'm pissed as hell at the mockery they are this year. I'll still be here when they get better, but until then, I reserve the right to piss and moan and whine and bitch.

I'm still going to buy gear and go to the games. Getting a couple hundred people on here to boycott a 79,000 seat stadium is ridiculous. And I really liked the coat Croyle was wearing today.

I get done with finals on the 14th and I have a feeling I can find some cheap tickets to the Titans game.

I don't ever have to worry about being called a bandwagon fan because my friends, famlily and coworkers already give me shit.

The thing is anytime someone makes a point to tell me they are not a bandwagon fan, I usually assume that they are. I'm friends with some great football fans, diehard fans, those are the people I want to hang with. I'm happy when there team finally wins a playoff game, or wins it all. I feel their pain when they lose in the first round, the do the same for me.

I might not be as happy as the current colts, patriots fan.

Yet another all-or-nothing argument... Yeah, and we all want Herm to open the offense and throw 40+ yards every play LMAO

It's sad when 'thick' is getting embarrassed in the playoffs.... Oh, I wish for those days again ROFL

I'm not sure you can be both a Chiefs fan and a bandwagoner at the same time, Mr. damaticous. Chiefs fans are long-suffering and we know what it takes to stand humiliated in our red outfits and endure the shame of losing with class and pride. And, of course, we each have our own way of dealing with it.

For my part, I always just pretend we're doing great. That way, win or lose, the sky is always just a little bluer, the sun just a little brighter, and the gun in the closet's just a little farther away.

Worst team since I started watching the Chiefs in 1990. I'll still be watching regardless of how bad things get. But, this team is quickly becoming a punch line. I try to look at it this way, at least I'm not pissed for a whole week after a loss, because I now expect a loss every week. There's the silver lining. We're about 4 O-linemen, 2 d-backs, 1 d-lineman, 1 head coach and 1 offensive coordinator away from contending for the elusive 10-6 season.

My good friend..who grew up in MO and went into the Navy and lives on the east coast now...has become a Cowboys fan.

Full blown T.O. lover. In his defense it started last year, but it's elevated to heights unknown to me, he just talks sh*t on the Chiefs now and totes the Cowboys as the greatest team to ever walk the earth.

That's bandwagon.

I can never be that.

I started watching the Chiefs in the early 70's as a kid. Not a good time to start - missed the Superbowl (2 years old) and not much to cheer about until Marty came in the late 80's. I'll continue to cheer for the Chiefs - even with the laughable coaching staff and play calling. I'll still go the the Denver/Chiefs game here every year and make it back for at least one game at Arrowhead every year.

I may not like the current regime - but I still love the Chiefs.

I still support them, but now I do other things on game day rather than watch this abysmal team. I don't buy into "Herm Ball" and can't wait for the day when it's abolished. But, I am a fan none the less. I watch the Chiefs on my time by recording the games. It's much easier that way.

I'll never stop watching even though the pain is progressing at a rapid rate. I do find myself now, watching individual players to see if there is any development. Concentrating on the parts instead of the whole, seems to make it easier to take.
