My PC wont let me open Winamp (which I just downloaded).

If I try to open it, it says there are restrictions on my computer and to contact my system admin.

Help please...

can't help you much, other than to say that if this is a work PC, many companies will terminate you for circumventing firewalls and other security measures.

Help please...Work pc, don't try to circumvent firewalls thats usually a fireable offense.

Home pc? Look at your Windows firewall settings in the control panel. Modify it there.

It's not a firewall, it's a group policy restriction.

The PC in question is technically a "work" PC. I purchased it from my company to use at home.

I was trying to download Winamp so I could watch MU BBall on a subscription streaming tv site.

I found out I could use a VLC player, it works for the site and it passes the restrictions.

I probably wouldnt be fired being it is technically my PC, but I didn't want to take any chances.
