So I threw together a new uniform for what we hope is a reborn team sometime in the near future. I'm a graphic designer so I picked up my old Chiefs concept (which I think I posted here a while back) and revamped it.

Basically what I have here is the same concept, but with the elimination of black and a new number font (kinda like the Chargers did). I took the current away pants stripes and placed them on the sleeves and white pants. The idea was to make everything pop out a bit more and make sure everything screams red and gold.

Plus, maybe with a red and gold logo, clothing manufacturers will quit putting so much damn black on Chiefs gear:

This team needs something subtle to really cement the change in the guard.

A uniform change is long overdue anyway...

Don't like the white-on-white or red-on-red. The rest is ok. Wonder how the helmet would look if there was black fill in between the yellow outline and the white arrowhead?

I actually dig it.

Can you show us a sample of Tony in a Patriots uniform? A lot of us would like to see what he'd look like a a member of a decent team.

BTW, I like what you did. Don't know if I could do the all reds though. Would have to see them in real life.

A gold on gold alternative uniform would set the NFL on fire

Agreed, the NFL is sorely lacking in a team that plays in a yellow jersey.

The light blue didn't do anyone any favors.

Actually, rip off from one of the old Steelers uniforms and have a gold colored design that goes from shoulder to shoulder and does something creative... But not like Buffalo's jersey.

Personally I'd like to see black replace yellow in our color scheme. Maybe even try some black pants at home.

Black = Raiders. There shall be no other team with black colors in the AFC West.

Not a fan of the yellow at all (I cant stand it when people wear yellow shirts at arrowhead....it's called the "sea of red" for a reason people).

Do like the red on red though.

Hate the logo but the uniforms look fine.

I just have one question:

Is that really Tony G.?

I've posted this previously, but this thread rekindled the idea. By golly we should modify the logo to follow the current trend (Cardinals, Seahawks, etc) to make small tweaks to the current logo to make it seem faster and more angry.

Lean if forward a bit and give it "angry eyes"...whaddaya think....any takers?

No?

No one?

Maybe THIS will change your minds?

Nice...but I think instead of the frowny-face, we need an arrowhead logo with the Flying Tigers shark-face:

Nah, I'm not really feeling that. There are ways of making it more aggressive without adding eyes and a mouth, but I like to keep it classy.

However, you reminded me of the logo I originally made to go along with this.

It's a chief head based on the original chief running across the midwest cartoon logo:

I had always hoped they would go towards a darker, deeper red (like the Eagles did a few years back with their green). I think the hooker lipstick red is due for a change.

Add a yellow face mask...that's the ticket!!

I like the logo idea.

Other than that, I don't really see the difference in the uniform design...perhaps I'm not watching enough Chiefs football this season...

I seem to recall Lamar being adamant about leaving the uniforms alone. This is one area I see Clark going with the status quo. It doesn't matter that much in the big scheme of things

I guess I forgot the [/sarcasm] identifiers...sorry I knew I forgot something.

Although...my arrowhead looks angrier than your indian chief :p

I absolutely love the red on red. The Chiefs need to bust it out twice a year:

I wish we'd dump the mustard yellow for a true gold color. I also wouldn't mind seeing gold pants (like Notre Dame) or at least solid red or white. I don't like the stripes. Don't want to mess with the helmet at all, or the arrowhead logo, number style or the type of red we use. I wouldn't mind adding arrowheads to the sleeves and putting the TV numbers on the shoulders.
