Yeah I seen that a while ago. He is my favorite. I got hooked on Audioslave first LP and then got everything from Rage. Audioslave: Live in Cuba is a kick ass DVD.

The guy is a creative genius. It's mind boggling to think of some of the ways that he comes up with to make music.

Another D&Der.
Tom Morello is awesome. I have love his style and creativity ever since I first started listening to Rage back in the mid 90s.

Where would he rank on your list of greatest living guitarists?

I don't want to make a ranking, but here are who I think are elite:
tom morello
john frusciante
omar rodriguez-lopez
john mayer
slash
I don't know too many other really good guitarists. Eric Clapton is still doing good, but I like his old stuff, not the blues.
Slash, Santana, Mark Knopfler, Tom Morello, Just to name a few

This is probably my favorite Rage song, guitar wise....

Morello makes it look too easy.

Holy shit that's cool. I watched part 2 also. (thanks Bump)
He seems like a hell of a likable guy...
I'd love to have that kinda talent.

He's got a ridiculous work ethic. He graduated from Harvard with honors, and he played his guitar for at least 8 hours every day while going to school there.

Damn, it would be nice to have a photographic memory AND talent like that on guitar.
I hear that Rage is getting back together. Good thread! Morello is a bad mo-fo!

i am big fan, no need for turn tables when he is around. I didn't like his night watchman bullshit album, but i respected it. He is a gooden. No doubt I spent many a nights trying to get my effects to sound like him.
