well, in regards to Croyle and that article "time will tell what a watch wont" O-Line is a BIGGER need atm.

Hard to argue with that. Seems there are a lot more holes than draft picks this year.

well, this next year our record should be terrible again so if we get lucky some REAL *REAL* Franchise QB's could be available and we would of at least solved most of our o-line woe's so we could afford to get one (QB i mean)

Seems like a pretty solid plan assuming Herm and Carl don't go sign Pennington..yuck.

Who are these REAL REAL franchise QBs you're speaking of?

You think Croyle is the answer? Or you just think it's poorly written? Guess you could have said shitty blog and left the post apart off, which I probably just opened the door for eh?

no clue thats why i said if were lucky. i still like brodie, im jsut saying if by next year he isnt improved and grown into the FQBOTF role..then we would need to try another guy.

Fix the Oline it all starts up front. Croyle gets a couple years to succeed/fail. Look at the beginning of some star QBs in NFL.... it wasn't pretty.

Did you have to leave Morrillton because of the new pork producing facility, or did they build it after you tainted the waterfall?

I agree about Croyle. Chad-Lite has done a lot to sell Pontiac G6's with the 'Bama game throw to Prothro, but he hasn't sold any Chiefs season tickets. He won't be here in three seasons, unless he's holding the clipboard Huard hands off.

I would say Croyle gets next year and that's all. If he sucks ass again, it will be time to deem him a back-up. At this point, he's still got upside, but a pathetic year, next year and Croyle won't be our starter for long.

BTW, that was a good blog. It provoked thought and gave some facts. Don't let blow-hard ruin your day. He's just jealous that he has some competition and he doesn't like it, so he bags on you. Consider the source and keep up the good work.

Don't see what it could hurt to give him next year as I think it's probably a throw away anyways. Hard to believe the Chiefs are even at the point where it doesn't seem feasible that we could win next year...maybe 8 losses in a row has just made me pessimistic.

kcsports, as to your blog, I think it is a good one. pretty articulate, pointed work. I like it. I'll try to remember to bookmark it.

As to the Croyle deal, I can't even pretend I know what a soon-to-be-star-QB looks like, so I couldn't tell you what I think of Croyle. But I do know this. He is better than Huard.

I'd agree that he's more talented than Huard, not sure that I'd agree with him being a better QB right now than Huard.... but he should be eventually I'd hope.
Regardless, good point about having no idea what a future star looks like, we've never had one so it's hard to say.
