Just a massive upgrade to a 22" Widescreen LCD from my previous 14" regular piece of crap, which decided it didn't like working this morning. My newbie is a ProView, which is a cheap WalMart guy, but holy crap! This is pretty amazing. Makes even the Planet a better place to be.

The new ones should have a few more sweatshops in the pipeline. I bet they knock $30 off that price.

Dont mean to brag,

But I recently upgraded to a 24" widescreen monitor that I bought myself to use at the office because the company only provided 19" crts.

The difference is unbelievable!!
If the company knew how much easier to work with this they would buy one for everybody.

Got it at Fry's for $350

I went from an old 15" CRT monitor to a 19" flat panel last year...it took me a few days to get used to it but I LOVED it. Still do. Looking to go EVEN BIGGER. :)

Dell has one for around 250 bucks right now with 6 months no interest. I'm tempted.

Unless it's the 2407 I wouldn't get it. TN panels suck (the E248 is a TN panel).

What does that have to do with the size of the screen? That's just the 16:9 aspect ratio, right?

Oh, BTW, Is $1,499 a good deal on a 42" Sharp Aquos LC42D64U? The wife is forcing me to buy one even though we don't have an HD receiver.

16:10, actually, and yes. But on a non-widescreen, you can't do that.
