I got a bluetooth earpiece for Christmas...

http://6.content.collegehumor.com/d1/ch6/1/c/collegehumor.b5f6c451887943195cbb1d9ca4314fb6.jpg

I plan on using it in the car, and when walking around the house on a long call... walking around with it on my ear, isn't really my thing... but I feel like a i have joined a cult nearly hated as much as mullet wearers.

LORD SAVE ME!!

it was either that... or this

It's not too late.

Repent for your sins!

Don't become that guy that everyone kinda thinks is talking to them at the store, then thinks you're a crazy asshole talking to yourself when you don't respond, then realizes you're just wearing an earpiece, and hates you.

9/10 Bluetooth guys need their headset to call 911 when they're shot in the gut for being "bluetooth guys".

Don't be a victim.

What if there was a way to get the bluetooth guys together with the guidos from the other thread and take care of business at a large venue of sorts?

I think the shear amount of douche-baggery present in that venue would most definately kill all things that require water and oxygen to live.

I have one now as well, but I promise to only have it on my ear when I need it, not as an accessory to my outfit.

Bluetooth guy is preferrable when driving. I'd rather someone be on their Bluetooth than jacking around on their phone and broadsiding me.

What is the law on phones when driving where you guys are? California goes hands free on July 1st. While I am not a bluetooth guy, I have one in my cup holder and use it sometimes.

Glad hands free is becoming the law.

The problem is hands free or not makes no statistical difference in accident rate. It's the distraction of talking on the phone that causes accidents, not hands free or not.

qft

there are studies out there that prove the level of tunnel vision when talking on the phone is the same whethere it's hands=free or not.

Actually anyone that has to be available for phone calls and does a LOT of driving the bluetooth headsets are a staple.

Soon laws are going to pass in just about EVERY state that will make it illegal to have a phone in your hand. Its already on Federal Installations like Ft. Riley next to me.

It's just a matter of time.

It's also nice when the WU likes to call me 10 Gawddamn times while I am trying to cook dinner. one push of a button on my ear and and I am still cutting and dicing while talking.

The law in Virginia is it is illegal for people under 18 to use a cell phone while driving, legal for everyone else.
The base I work at (Naval Station Norfolk) has banned the use of cell phones while driving, to include hands free devices.

I listen to music and make calls and they are HUGE on my head. Not very discreet. Small price to pay for no cord music listening.

Really?? Mine will last a lot longer than my cell phone on both standby and talking. And I got the cheapest one available.

Yeah, because that will work. You ought to tear his ear off (with bluetooth attached and see if you can smoke Herm with it.

He's got a few left. Almost knocked some out when he fell over four rows of seats at the Tennessee game. Lucky for everyone else, they were empty.

I have a Motorola Bluetooth I bought at Sam's for $25. I only bought it because the apartment I was living in earlier this year, only got good cell reception in the kitchen. So, I could activate the BT and leave my phone in the kitchen. Worked pretty good. I use it every now and again when I drive.

I had one of the Jabra bluetooths (blueteeth???) but the goddamn thing kept breaking on me - they are very cheaply made, IMO. After the third one broke, I didn't even bother to take it back to get it replaced. I just don't use it enough. Basically, I'll chalk this up to a gimmick buy that ended up being a waste of time and money.
