I have heard that we should keep an eye on him tomorrow. Which records are within reach for him?

All time receptions by a TE, I think.
None. Other than catching 11 to break his own record of 102 receptions for a TE.

Most seasons played with a team that has no stinking chance of winning anything ever.

that Kenny G record that his ex-girlfriend made him buy

Yeah, it's the all-time receptions record. He needs 2 to tie, 3 to break it.
There's also the fact that Jason Witten is like 9-10 catches shy of Tony's single-season record. But Tony is only two receptions behind Witten. And considering how meaningless our game is tomorrow, if Witten were to get near it, maybe they throw a dozen of the classic Solari 0 yard passes to Tony so he can pad his stats.
Yeah, it's the all-time receptions record. He needs 2 to tie, 3 to break it.
Huh?

Oh, shit I didn't think he was that close. I was thinking Sharpe had more.

I so hope he does it tomorrow. Is Brodie starting?
Thats right, he only needs 3. Jesus, I was thinking Sharpe had about 840.
Is Brodie starting?Last I heard...

Most talented tight end that has no chance of ever winning a super bowl.

Either way, Tony should be a shoe in. How many receptions does he average per game? I should probably look some of this stuff up.

Great security blanket for a young QB.
Tony G's a stud. I've got nothing but respect for the guy.

I'm not sure how many he averages, but if it is, in fact, 2 or 3 that he needs... he'll break it easily.
He should break it in the 1st quarter.

He's averaged 6.1 r/g for this season with a 4.7 r/g career average.

Too bad the Chiefs can't trade him and a pick for somebody good like Cooley or Witten. Gates is almost out of that league, but would still be good. "Gonzo" is a clown. He would be lucky to get 500 yards on a good team. Gonzo sucks in reality.

Gonzalez is the best TE to ever play the game.
Doesn't matter that a Chiefs fan just made that statement...It's true.

Doesn't matter that a Chiefs fan just made that statement...It's true.I completely agree. I'm happy as hell that I've had the honor of seeing nearly every play of his NFL career.
Didn't he also break the record for appearances in the Pro Bowl? This year makes nine, I believe.

Maybe for a tight end. But certainly not most appearances in the Pro Bowl.

Ah yes. That's what I meant.
If he gets 11 receptions tomorrow, he'll break his 102 single season record.
All the records he breaks seem shallow because of the state of the team.

Yes it is.
Sharpe has 815 receptions all time Tony is at 813
Sharpe career yards is 10,060, Tony 9,818 242 yards away
Tony already has a the TD record standing at 66 Sharpe was 62

Yep. My friend, who is a Donx fan, and I have this 11-year bet going in that I said that Tony would break Sharp's above mentioned records before it was all said & done. Now that the time is here, even though I'm going to win, it's a very shallow victory because of the state of the Chiefs. To add insult to injury, the Donx SWEPT us in this, their down year. :shake:
ESPN does it again. They were talking about possible milestones today, and NO mention of Tony.

It's a shame that this isn't getting the attention it deserves because the Chiefs are so bad. Such is life when you play for a shitty team.

My username kind of says all you need to know about Tony G.
It's gonna be pretty sweet watching Tony break the receptions record, go over 100 receptions again, and break his own receptions record. All are more than likely going to happen today.
And on top of all that, D Bowe is getting 1,000 yards today.

Gonzo does suck, way overrated IMO. If he didn't drop so many easy, perfectly placed passes Huard would be in the Pro-Bowl for sure. Asshole Tony.

Does anyone have the actual stats for Tony as far as balls thrown to/balls caught.
I know his percentage has to be ungodly high.

For sure. And not only that but my cousin's roomates sister's boyfreind saw him in Price Chopper and said hi and all Tony did was say Hello back, he didn't offer to take their groceries out to the car or take money out of his wallet or ANYTHING!
Tony deserves nothing I'm happy he will win nothing.
