....would you trade a pick to the Browns for Quinn?

Just a thought.

Is it common for teams to trade up to draft a QB, sit him for a year, and then trade him away?

Is it common for teams to trade a top 5 pick for an unproven QB when their OL is so shitty that a QB with the combined DNA of Joe Montana, Dan Marino, John Elway, Peyton Manning, Tom Brady and Brett Favre would suck balls behind it?

Sure. They'll be trading Derek Anderson if anyone, though.

Quinn is so overrated it's sad. He padded his stats at ND against inferior competition and coasted on a delusional fanbase. The guy wasn't good enough to get drafted by the Dolphins(!) or give Charlie Frye or Derek Anderson a run for their money.

So there's a 99.9% chance we'll do the ****ing stupid thing and trade for him.

What? Quinn was a hold out for most of training camp. No way was he gonna be given a shot to compete with Frye and Anderson. The only overrated player on the Browns, is Anderson.

Oh, and Crennel is about as stupid as Herm. He was asked why he didn't let Quinn play more sunday, he said he didn't wanna create a QB controversy.

No.

The reason that Quinn and Anderson looked so good is because they have so much time to throw. The commentators even say that. They can just sit there and pat the ball for 6seconds until somene gets open (and with Quinn the throws are right infront of him).

Until our Oline is fixed, I am comfortable with whatever qb we have playing because it really wont make much of a diffrence.Exactly. People are crazy about Anderson, but put him on this team and he plays no better than Brodie.

I would, If it wasn't for Edwards and Winslow's dropped passes on his first drive he would have had a impressive drive.. He has nice touch on his passes. Very polished,

you could say the same about Brodie. Webb and Tony were dropping most of the passes, and Battle even ducked when the ball came his way!!

Good Point, But Brodie is very raw, he can devlop no doubt.

Well if the price was right doesn't include our 1st, yes.

We'd be stupid not to consider looking at QBs. If Croyle pans out, great! We'd then have two QBs. But not looking for one is risky.

Quinn isn't worth a top 5 pick so it'd have to be something less. But yes if the price was right.

I'd rather have Anderson though.... But he will cost too much.

I'd rather have AndersonNo. Overrated.

"If the price was right"? Sure. I'd want a bargain though. I'm with the camp that thinks we need to address the offensive line before worrying about a final decision about QB.

A pick, yes.

The pick, no.
