The KU-VT game is by far projected to be the closest, especially if you look at the spread, and I wouldn't be surprised if KU upset VT at all (if you even call it that). The ACC has proven themselves to be a very weak conference over this week.

I don't know......

I think this could be a very entertaining game. Both are solid teams. I think the game comes down to ku's ability to mount a rushing attack against VaTech. If they can establish that, this game could come down to the last possession.

ku 23
VaTech 27

Shit. If only we were lucky enough to have it that good. These ****ers don't care about the quality of the product presented. They just want as much money as they can get out of it. They felt that KU would travel better than MU. It really is that retarded.

Nope. Not me. I wanted MU to play Va Tech. More compelling game to me. I wanted KU to get a shot at USC in the Rose Bowl. They would've competed a lot better than Illinois today.

I actually think MU might have had a chance agaisnt USC, that's why I said it. I can't really see any other team available that could have done that assuming Georgia stayed in the Sugar.

KU would lose, but I don't think it would be what we saw today.

Almost? You had nothing at the end but a desperation shot that was greased when Reesing's midget head was stuffed into the east endzone. The game ended with Daniel taking a knee.

Was it closer than it should have been? Sure. Pinkel went conservative in the second half. That, coupled with the gift TD drive the official$ gave you made it look closer than it was.

Don't pretend like you weren't scared half to death at that point about what was going on.

And Daniel ended the game taking a knee, you say? How surprising that the act done by most winning QBs at the end of a game was done that day by MU's QB.

I could see a blowout, but it's also not very hard to see them showing up and making a game. It really depends on if they can be physical enough at the LOS, if VT can out-physical them and shut down the running game, it will probably be a long 4 quarters.

What is the point spread? Last I saw it was 3 points. Basically the home field advantage to the Hokies. We are new at this, Cinderella if you will. I'd love to win but don't expect it. If Mizzou couldn't blow us out why would Va Tech? Is Va Tech that much better than Mizzou?

Nah...it will be a close game. VT has a good defense so KU probably won't score much, but VT's offense is pretty anemic and KU shouldn't have too much problem shutting them down. It's gonna be like 9-6 or 10-7.

Now, if we loaned you Temple..

Illinois turned out to be a fraud, which some would contend was MU's biggest win. If KU loses big, then MU's biggest win is against a team that canned their coach before their bowl game and had numerous distractions, making their whole season a fraud as well. Face it Mizzou fans, you need KU to win to make this season have more value.

In October of 2004, I started noticing Red Sox hats pop up all over Chicago. Was there a sudden influx of Bostonians relocating to Illinois? No, it was just loser ass Cub fans buying Red Sox hats trying to experience success through another team because theirs was so damned lame. Yes, the Red Sox beat the Cardinals in the World Series; but that didn't change the fact that the Cubs sucked ass.

That's pretty much you in a nutshell. A loser who attempts to experience someone else's success. But in the end, it rings hollow, doesn't it?

You realize, don't you, that honestchieffan is an ILLINOIS FAN. But all he talks about is Kansas.

It's pathetic.

KU may lose to VTech by triple digits

Looking at their scheudle for 08, it looks tougher, since they'll play USF at Tampa, and OU at Norman.

But they do play aganist Texas in Lawrence.

Everything you "said" was hater bullshit. You're a chickenshit putz with no class.

And you're being overdramatic about a positive for both MU and KU.... that will likely lead to a more dramatic emotional rematch next year that could turn in to a ****ing great rivalry the likes of which we haven't seen in many years...

KU vs. MU means something again. Hooray for both dammit....

Go KU!

I was calling out some asshole who dotes on Kansas like he was born and raised in Lawrence who is a fan of another team from another conference. WTF does that have to do with the MU/KU rivalry?

What is pathetic is you cannot embrace anyone other than Mizzou? How imature and silly! And perhaps you are not aware there are these things called "Graduate Schools"....some of us actually hold a degree from more than one place.see you can go to one place, like say, Illinois and then go to another school like ohhh lets see...KU maybe?..and people have family who may have gone somewhere else ( even MU, though we generally feel lessened as a family unit when that is mentioned)...And the fact the Illini were beaten by a strong USC team does not cause me to view USC with any disrespect. No more than I feel a need to look at Mizzou basketball with any disrespect with you teams record vs. Illinois.

So take a deep breath, relax a little bit. You need some fresh air.

I've lived in Illinois for 20 years. I have no problem them and wish them well unless they're playing Missouri. But my primary loyalty is to Missouri, and always will be. All you talk about is Kansas, you take shots at Missouri and its fans endlessly. Your team played in the Rose Bowl, and you didn't say a word about it. But here you are crowing over Kansas.

If you want to be KU's Mecca, perhaps you should at least take the Chief out of your avatar.

It doesn't matter who he was. You responded to several different people with "weak schedule" smack, and then tried to tear down KU's BCS bowl win.

MU beat KU for the championship. They both won their bowl games. You're still acting defensive......

You either need to drink more, or drink less. But seriously, you should try to quote the correct post.

At least Hawaii TRIED to schedule decent non-conference opponents.

And I assume you know much more about welfare than I do.

we scheduled KUpcakes, so that we could build our program for next season. Winning the Orange this year, sits ahead of schedule.

Next year, either you dont play OU or Texas, right? Or both? Any idea?

ROFL

Projected by who? The same idiots who merely looked at your record and assumed you must be good? Please.

The only BCS game that MIGHT be competitive is the Fiesta Bowl.

Har har har!!!

Mizzou plays at Texas, and they play Illinois on a neutral site. Those look to be their only really difficult games, other than that they scheduled quite a few cupcakes themselves, (SE Missouri, Buffalo, Nevada).

Oklahoma plays Texas and Kansas back to back at home.
