I never imagined starting a thread like this but here goes.

Our best couple friend's 27 year old daughter in law was diagnosed with ovarian cancer that had spread to her appendix, lymph nodes, and stomach. In surgery they got most of it but had to leave the tumor attached to the stomach.

The couple has a daughter that is not quite 2.

Doctors have not given up hope and are treating the stomach tumor but I fear the worst.

We've been making the family meals but feel just so helpless so I thought maybe throwing out this request couldn't hurt.

I don't know what the rules are for prayer request threads but even though this isn't immediate family they are truly part of ours.

Thanks.

That's horrible... just lost my 33 yo cousin (Dec 11th) to colon cancer so I know what you're going through.

Spend as much time as you can with her/them as when the shit hits the fan... it's going to be hard.

As a parent who lost my daughter to breast cancer at the age of 30 & left behind 2 small children, I know exacty what both you and your friends are going through. Pray, stay together, and if I may suggest let Hospic get involved.
Peace my friend to you and your friends.

Sorry to hear about your friend's daughter-in-law. Hope the doctors can find a way to shrink and remove that tumor.

Add my prayers to the list. God has his plan and we all have the ability to give our input. My input will be for a full recovery. Prayers for all those involved.

Good luck. I don't want to sound like a downer here, but I had a frist cousin that died of Ovarrain cancer about 6 week ago. They thought they had it, but it spread to other parts of here body.
