LMAO No. I thought they were gonna scare the crap out of him at first.

I don't know if I'd let a kid that young play Halo 3. Definitely not online at least.

"Dont wreck the box" ?? What the hell? Was dad planning on taking it back to the store after the kid fell asleep or what? To hell with the box open this f**ker and lets shoot up some s**t.

Nice. I wish more kids were like him instead of these "entitled" brats I deal with on a daily basis.

Very well done by the parents to raise him right.

This video proves to me that not every kid out there needs a punch in the face. I'm glad this kid got what he wanted. I especially liked that he offered his Dad money towards the end. That kid deserves a lot.

The kid who screamed for an N64 is just annoying.

You are crazy if you think that video is cool at all. It is almost child porn lite. I can understand filming great family moments, but that is over the line. That kid obviously has a pretty shitty daily life. How in the hell does something like that end up online? That is where the real issue is. Makes the parents look like complete fools.

How is that child porn lite ? Maybe his life isn't shitty but they're just poor ?

I do agree with you on why this should be online.

It is just a pat on the back for the parents. Not the best way to raise a child. The parents just look bad. Why upload that shit unless you are trying to make yourself feel better? They did kinda exploit the kids.

It just rubs me wrong. How many of us could post vids of our kids getting gifts? Maybe there should be a big thread about how lucky they were to have a video cam? How many BJ vids of the Mrs. are going around on torrents out there? I bet there are a couple. They did not prove a point by buying the kids something. TOTAL white trash, and I would not put the images of my kids online regardless.

This is what the parents said

About this video: We surprised our son with an xBox 360 Elite & The Halo 3 Legendary Edition and a friend and his wife even pitched in for a controller. The thing is, Nik has always been sick or hurt for his last few birthdays. This year he broke his collar bone playing soccer and we wanted to do something really special. We kept telling him money was tight & we couldn't afford an xBox 360 or the game but "maybe we could rent it for you one weekend."

I have put out videos and images of my dog doing some pretty cool things.

It makes me look like a pretty good trainer.

Have I exploited my dog?

Listen.... these parents did something nice for their kids. And yeah... for them money is tight.

"it's called budgeting. We got the tv two years ago for the world cup and we saved for quite a while. but it is a pretty sweet tv, eh?"

Damn dude... they did something nice for a kid who has had a string of bad birthdays. They taped it and put it on youtube because of his reaction.... not because they were looking for some pat on the back.

You know what tho.... even if they WERE looking for a pat on the back, they friggin deserve it for the way the kid reacted. He went off and got some of his birthday money to give to his dad to help pay for the xbox. Most kids, on the other hand, feel "entitled" in that they SHOULD have all this stuff as if it was their birth right or something.

Just because YOU would not post images or video of your kids, that does not mean everyone else should take your lead.
