I have in my possession 2 rarely used, 512 MB 1Rx8 PC2-4200U-444-12 Samsung RAM.

I do not, however know if it's a DDR or a DDR2. I did some searching on the web with the "Samsung 512mb 1Rx8 PC2-4200U-444-12" and most of the searchs that looks similar to this is a DDR. I will post a picture on here to give you an idea what it looks like.

It was used for at least 2-3 months before I upgraded to 2 GB. And I wouldn't want those two good RAM chips laying around, just going to waste. They have been placed in the RAM package box ever since they were tooken out, and placed in a normal room environment.

So, I think the starting price would be $7 would be a ideal start, since $4.99 plus 2.00 for shipping.

Here are the photos:

Send me a PM if you are interested. Serious buyers, please.

Thanks!

How do I know if they will work on my PC? Shit I'll buy them if they do.

Edit: Nevermind, mine say DDR on them.

Don't forget to put them on craigslist. Free advertising if no one here purchases them.

I might be interested in putting these in my kids PC. I will have to wait until this evening to look and see what kind of Ram their PC uses.

BTW, isn't there some kind of program that can tell you exactly what type of ram is in your PC without opening it?

or you can go to www.crucial.com and you can run a utility that will tell you what you have and what ram you can use.

The label should have a P/N - ???? portion. What is their part number?

It didn't say P/N from what I saw. I just know that there are two different numbers, one right by the "Made in Korea" with a combination of letters and numbers, and the barcode is underneath it. On the right, is a barcode with the combination of numbers and letters underneath it.
