All my cousins kids ranging from 2-10
About 8-12 people total.

What movies are classic/new that they probably wouldn't have seen that they'd probably like.

I was thinking along the lines of "The last Dragon" as that was our favorite movie coming up. But it's only going to be 3 kids over the age of 7.

Also... thought about playing pictionary but we're going to have toddlers.

What do you guys think?
Never Ending Story?

XBOX 360
COD4
Halo 3

make sure to teach them racial slurs and plenty of curse words before play.

Thought about that but only 3 of them over the age of 7 (my daughter is one of them).

Most are going to be < 5.

Give them some special brownies to kick off the night. They'll be hyper for awhile but they should be out cold in about an hour. Then you can watch whatever movie you want.

I don't know... I don't think it'd keep the younger kids attention & it'll prolly be too corny for the older ones. I haven't seen it in probably a decade or more.

You're gonna show em Howard the Duck.F*ck. I'd totally forgot about that movie. What an absolute piece of trash..I don't remember when I watched it over again, but it was within the last 3 or 4 years, and I don't know what I saw in that f*cking movie when I was a kid..but I loved it.

Also loved the Lucky Luke cartoon cowboy..my role models smoked cigs and drank beer at the local tarvern. Pretty sweet.

Oh crap. I completely forgot that movie. Loved that movie when I was a kid, but now? I totally despite it.

Revenge of the Nerds is a good one though.

How sick is it to think of this midget duck that kinda wears clothes trying to nail this band chick??

It's totally unappealing now.

He should show em revenge of the nerds, kids need good boob and bush shots..then they can ask him "why those women have a lot of crotch hair" since that isn't the case these days.

I remember that movie too. Been a long long time since I seen it.

Roger Rabbit was another, although I think that one was highly annoying.

That IS a pretty interesting choice... Is it considered corny though?
CGI isn't too noticeable is it?

I'd rather strike a match to my retinas for entertainment than watch something that old and boring.

I'd just show my DVD's of the Chapelle show.Pretend they're motivational movies. See kids, you don't want to be a crackhead like Tyrone, but you do want to laugh at crackheads like I am.

CGI? not in that movie, I just remember loving those movies when I was a kid. It's been that long since I've seen them too. It may be a little mature for >5 yr olds. So grab Finding Nemo, Shrek and what not and pop those in!

"Friday" might be a good one to teach your kids that being a gangsta.

I liked that when I was a kid. I tried watching it with my kids ( 7, 9, & 12 yrs) and they hated it. I think the only movie they sort of liked from my youth was the Goonies.

That's my point... the movies we liked as kids ie gremlins/critters... it'd be corny for them now.

The thrill is gone.

Dark Crystal... already tried watching that with the 10 yo... didn't go too well.

However... Legend & Larbyinth went better.
