Doesn't look good....

Bryant Johnson visiting Bills (http://blogs.chicagosports.chicagotribune.com/huddleup/2008/03/bryant-johnson.html)

By Vaughn McClure, 11:01 a.m.

The chances the Bears land free-agent receiver Bryant Johnson are becoming slimmer by the moment.

According to Buffalobills.com, Johnson arrived in Buffalo this morning and is touring the team's facility. The site reported that he underwent a physical, as well.

A Bears team source said Johnson would visit Halas Hall provided he didn't sign with another team. But expect the Bills to put the squeeze on Johnson, with Bills head coach Dick Jauron citing the need for a big receiver.

Also, the Bears have yet to officially release quarterback Brian Griese, according to agent Ralph Cindrich.

Cindrich said he was playing phone tag with the Bears this morning, but a decision should be made by Monday afternoon. The Bears said they would explore trading Griese but they'll have to release him if no takers emerge. Griese is due a $300,000 bonus Tuesday.

The Chiefs don't need no stinking free agents, nor do they have any use for wide receivers. Herm has a plan.

if he can continue to Draft Well and develop guys Tank/Turk. a FA here and there. I just hoped with the abundence of FA (Berrian,Johnson,Gage, etc) that we could get someone with experience to immediately give a WR real threat with Bowe/Gonzo, (FA .. WR). Slot Webb/Parker etc.

hoping for a WR diamond in the rough is a dream....

at least we go in to camp with plenty of competition and PK. might as well invite Medlock back. Buc-ball rulez.
