John Clayton just mentioned this on ESPN. WTF. This is unbelievable! I thought we were going to a youth movement. Does this deal make any sense? Carl considering sending Packers this years 1st and 5th round draft picks.

Brett Favre un-retires.

Says he can't wait to throw passes to great receivers like Jeff Webb and Booby Sippio!

LOL We're up to 12!!! (13 replies including mine) Let's keep this thing going!!! At least no one really thinks this is true... yet... you should post it on WPI. Didn't Nick include something ridiculous like this in an article, when his "source" was from a thread on their forum? Gotta love it.

Come on, guys.... I got this information straight from Nick "The Erroneous One" Athan and Blob Gretz. It seems legit.

Where did they get it from?

2 Live Stews, or Fox Sports Radio?

Favre, 38, had pondered retirement for a few years, and his longtime agent, Bus Cook, suggested on Tuesday that Favre wanted to play at least one more season but might have retired, in part, because he felt the Packers had not expressed enough interest in having him return.

He left the door open. ...

I just don't understand signing a hall of fame qb who can make all the throws when we need to go 0-16 the next five years just to compete come 2013.

I understand we will be paying him a contract worth $800k per year. This was better used signing LB's to convert to Fb and signing safeties to convert to CB.

This just proves the desire for this franchise to always win.... which, as a true fan, really pisses me off.

New thread idea... Joe Montana un-retire and join KC Chiefs. Brett Favre says "I'm fine with being the backup. At least I'll get a freaking game off. Plus now I won't have to eat cheese on everything...."

Deberg_1990 you were wrong...only got 32 replies. good guess though.
You were a third of those replies, though.

Pretty easy to get your number when you're supplying all the conversation.

I thought about starting a similar thread after reading the Pacman thread. I was gonna go with Britney Spears hired as director of player personnel.
