For single handedly keeping the board interesting at this late hour, i guess we are the only two mooks up.;)

Don't know what a "mook" is, but I'm an insomniac....

Hah, thanks mook.
Although my fiance isn't so happy about it (and neither is the work I should be doing right now).
Insomnia is my nemesis.
I am always up at this hour 'cause I work from midnight to eight. BTW- I am the mookiest.

Anyone who would actually look the word up in the dictionary is, by definition, a mook.
D'oh!

No, Otter, I haven't had a visit with Jack for a while now.
I'm actually making myself some scrambled eggs right now and listening to physicist Michio Kaku on the Art Bell Radio show. Fascinating stuff.

Not sure if you're old enough for this one or not, but remember "Captian Jack" by Billy Joel?
Use to set that puppy on repeat and slam down a sixer before going out back in high school...hmmmmmmmmmmm.........Billy Joel and beer.....

My personal favorite:
get your hands on a copy of Gustav Holst's The Planets and either take a shot or drink a beer for each movement (there are 7 movements, a total of about 50 minutes).
It's called "doin' the planets"...
Good fun!

Gustav Holst's?
Sophistication and getting p****d faced drunk just somehow don't go together....
"I drink, therefore I write...."
What Eddy Poe WOULD HAVE said if we had cnn back then....:D

The Planets is one of the few "classical" works that just about anyone can listen to, Brad.
Actually, John Williams "borrowed" (cough) a lot of it for his Star Wars soundtracks.
It's good if you're trying to get yourself into what I like to refer to as the "writing buzz". :)

I was under the impression that this was classical music...
Is it country, classic, classical, ????
Always willing to give new music a try...

Well "classical" is a loose term to throw around, but I guess it fits. It's orchestral music.
You have to remember I'm a "classically"-trained musician and composter...
"composter" - if that isn't a classic freudian slip I don't know what is :D

Fair enough....I'll look it up....
I write myslef, and while I'd love to be able to compose or even PLAY an instrument, i can't....
My mother thought music was "an expensive hobby" and dad thought I'd "turn fag" if I learned to play an instrument...
My guitar is almost payed off at the local pawn shop, my dad has yet to get a christmass card...:D
