Yes, but the Chiefs did not tender an offer.

How could they not? He was so productive here....

It boggles the mind. If I had to guess at a reason, I'd probably blame Reerun_KC.

Indeed. His 0 tackes and 0 blocks a game will be hard to replace.

man I hope the chiefs realized that it would be a PR mistake and keep him

Give me a skill player. Boomer is so overrated around these parts it's not even funny. This is ****ing football, not an advertising campaign. Get a grip, Boomer isn't very good.

He's off the roster on KCChiefs.com.

He told WPI he was going to Miami.

The dude is a Dolphin.

I wish you could take some of the intangible qualities of boomer and put them in a more talented body.

He has the kind of attitude that can keep a locker room in good spirits during difficult seasons. He has the determination that may inspire others.

But you are right. You can only have 53 players.

You guys are pathetic. Boomer was a human wrecking machine. We were lucky to have that kind of talent on our roster and now you're glad he's gone? You guys aren't real fans. I mean c'mon, his name is BOOMER. We will live to regret this when he plays in multiple Pro Bowls and gives the Dolphins that spark they needed to push them to the top.

Maybe Huard can go with him and we will watch multiple superbowl appearances... You know cause Huard was all that and was named DownField BigGame....

I'll bet at least one of those 53 isn't as good as Boomer, has less potential AND half the desire.

Yes, clearly we needed Boomer to make it through such a difficult season last year. Who knows, without him the Chiefs might have only won 2 or 3 games instead of 4. :)

I have a feeling he will be a good player.

He didn't get much of a chance in KC. And this will probably be one of those things where "Oh we had Boomer Grigsby!!"

pathetic isn't it?? I guess I'd rather this than another "hey let's sign this asshole to a copntract, he'd be great with KC since he failed everywhere else"

No, I will scream...if we take aquib at # 5, just stick the knife in.

I would rather take McFadden. I would certainly rather take Ghoulston at #9...Blech.

Finfan: Boomer is just what we need on special teams to make Ted Jr look like a #9 overall pick
