Of course, MU baseball has a couple of pitchers who are likely to be top 5 picks in the MLB draft over the next couple years. So, I guess the national pastime will have to tie us over until football season.

OK, everybody here knows I'm a KU grad so I'm biased toward KU. But, for a moment, let's see how an unbiased third party might judge the sports teams of KU, K-State and Mizzou. First, K-State is the only school in the Big XII who has never won a National title in anything. (Yes, even Baylor has a NC) And Mizzou just had their best season ever in football with their 2 loss season. But KU had only one loss and got by far the more prestigious Orange Bowl over the MUrons Cotton Bowl. Oh, yeah, Mizzou has NEVER been to the Final Four. And, KU owns the all time lead over both K-State and Mizzou in football and it isn't even close in basketball with either school. I think the rest of the nation gets the message.

5-1 in the last 6 matchups, 11-3 in the last 14, and 163-93 all time.

3-3 in the last 6 matchups, 14-13 Kansas in the last 27, and 54-53-9 MU all time.

But I agree that the BCS is phony. The Gayhawks playing in the Orange Bowl proved it.

Nobody helped me get my degree. I used the GI Bill and worked washing cars the whole time. You could have done the same but you didn't. Nobody gave me anything. You've never set foot inside a Mizzou classroom but you want the reflected glory of a team you have absolutely no connections to. You are a 100% phony.

Well, that's not true; I made the most of the training I received in the military, and I still use it to this very day; to make far more money than you do, I'm sure. Even though I'm 20 years younger than you.

I didn't flush four years of college down the shitter by ending up being Mr. Ass-Crack-In-Front-Of-The-Customer's-Entertainment-Center.

Remember who is wearing who's shirt.

And remember how the final rankings worked out.

Give up dude, arguing with a Jayhawker is like arguing with Rayduh fan,we may have beat them head-to-head in a big game but they'll always come back with yeah but...

All that really matters is we were there and had a damn good time

That Tennessee/Kentucky game was crazy. Well, from what I remember... after all, it was just a regular season game.

Well, this thread has motivated me to do a couple of things I've been putting off:

1. I'm getting some stuff framed; a nice little montage to my attendance of the greatest game ever played between Missouri and Kansas (and, of course, its outcome) featuring my ticket, the front page of the Stars' Border War edition that they were handing out in the parking lot after the game, and the cover of the Chase Daniel Sports Illustrated. Should make a fine addition to the wall of my den.

2. After six years, its time to change over that Bronco sticker in my toilet. Rock chalk, baby.

So to be an MU fan you have to be a grad?? makes alot of sense, so chiefs fans probably need to be former chiefs players too right? nice logic...
