Please don't reply he sucks.

Why doesn't he produce?

Lacks speed? Can't get off the line? Route running? Hands?

Which one?

He just really isn't very good...there isn't one thing he does very well. He's blah in every sense of the word.

28 catches for 313 yards. He produced plenty for a low-round 2nd-year player...

I don't disagree with that, anyone who thinks he's gonna be a productive starting WR is asking way to much though.

You're grading on the curve.
He had a chance to really produce here in Kansas City.
There wasn't much in front of him.

I think he will end up being a nice #3 WR and special teams guy.

He might be a decent receiver someday if/when he learns to DRAG HIS FEET.

Webb doesn't have the talent to be a #1 or #2 guy. He can be a serviceable 3 or 4 reciever for someone. Those guys can hang around the league for quite a while.

He did better than the guy ahead of him on the depth chart, I think hes just had poor coaching, and offence played poor all around. I'm not saying I think he will ever be a constant 1,000 yard reciever if he ever even is one, but I think he could do alright with a team like the Colts.

I don't think he's fast enough to play in their offense...

He might not be, but I think that would be his best chance at success. A team with good coaches surrounding him with other talented players. I personlly like him and want him to stay here, but not at the #2 reciever.

Other than Bowe or Gonzo.

With the mess we had at QB, he EXCEEDED my expectations.

He made some steps last year. This is his make or break year. Joe Horn didn't develop right away. Hopefully the team will address the OL and a QB will have a chance to get him the ball.

He likely won't have anybody to get him the ball anyway.

Shhh, it's wrong to imply that Brodie Croyle is injury prone even though he is.

No shit.

People want him to produce like a 1st round pick? In his 2nd year - his first with any significant playing time?

For a 6th round pick, in this offense, he did pretty well, IMO.

I think web is a decent backup-situational player.

He's not blazing fast, he's got decent size and while he's made some nice catches, he's had a problem getting both feet down, which makes me question his concentration.

Just not that good. Has no particular strong abilities. Will likely bounce around between a few teams in the NFL and then be out of the league.

oh i don't know ...... maybe it has something to do with the fact that we run an offensive system so crappy that a Pee Wee league coach would laugh.

What you meant to say is "He'd be on any other NFL team's practice squad".

It's pretty amazing that anyone thinks that a receiver's production in this team's offense last season is any sort of legitimate indication of that receiver's abilities.

That's crazy talk, Brodie is not injury prone! He just gets "dinged" a lot.

Other than not producing their first few seasons in the league, is there anything at all about Jeff Webb that reminds you of Joe Horn?

Is there an all of the above option?

You didn't want the replay he sucks but do you really want to know what's wrong with Jeff Webb?...... Here it comes. He sucks.

He's still raw, but he made some strides last year. If he works on getting off the line better and running better routes, he could become a great slot receiver. I don't expect anything more than that.

How could the guy produce in the r2p2 offense when he's the #4 receiver?

Webb is the next Chris Penn, Danan Hughes, Sean LaChappelle, Kevin Lockett, Lake Dawson, JJ Birden, Emile Harry, Tim Barnett, Robb Thomas, Chris Thomas, Snoop Minnis, Chris Horn, etc...whatever...

So basically, whatever was wrong with those guys is wrong with Webb.

I suppose he was decent for the era he played in. Best season, he ever had was 721 recieving. WooHoo!
