Jilly - "I think I'm in love with a retard!"

Sully - "Is he bigger than me?"

Again, congrats guys. Having a kid will be a hundred times harder than you thought it would be, but a thousand times more rewarding than you'd ever imagine it could be.

If you want to position your child well for the future world economy, might I suggest the name Dingbang if it's a boy, and Bo if it's a girl?

Saw a couple of T-Shirts in a pregnancy mag yesterday I thought were funny. One for her that reads, "Knocked up" and one for me that reads, "Yes... It's mine!"

I should have #2 on the ground this week...maybe today.

I was thinking of getting a tshirt for the baby like my brother got for his last one

The heartbeat is just the first of many exciting steps! I thought hearing my sons heartbeat for the first time was the ulitmate joy! Then came the first ultra-sound pic! The one after that we knew his sex. Incredible blessing!
Congrats, and good luck!

I recommend 2 books. "Pregnancy Sucks" and "Pregnancy Sucks for Men." They're light reads, are very funny and will give you some good advice on how to survive this wonderful experience. After that, "Breast Feeding Sucks", "Getting your Baby to Sleep Sucks" and "Potty Training Sucks." Go to Amazon, the author is Joanne Kimes. Lots of good time ahead. By the way, Joanne Kimes is my wife, so any book you purchase goes to my daughters college education. :)

I think I've read about 5 books already on pregnancy and being an expectant father.

Nothing makes the wife happier than her husband reading pregnancy books. You are doing exactly the right thing.

In my short experience, nothing makes the wife happier than making brownies. But...yeah... she'll probably remember the books, too...

beets...I know that's strange, but I ate them on Sunday and they were the best things ever. I'm trying to decide if it's the vinegar on them or the actual beets. But that's the weirdest so far!!
