They have been running them down to # 1. IMHO, this list is just plain stupid. Each player listed was good / great in their time. Each could change the game or elavate the players around them to be better players.
But I disagree with alot of these picks. Christian Laettner is listed way tooo high, IMHO.Sampson,Gola,Kurland,& Mikan were listed too high as well ......

But it was just my opinion.

That whole list is total crap simply because Len Bias isn't on there.

Seriously he's (Bias) probably one of the greatest college players ever. Some of that list are players that are more recognizable for their pro days than in college.

I can't believe that Sasha Kaun isn't on the list. Its an OUTRAGE.

Danny Manning should have been 20-25. He was awesome. I also think Jevon Crudup should be in the top 11 Billionty list.

There is no way Laetner should be ahead of Magic.

Top 20, I'll bite, that's 15 thru 20, but 12 ws too high.

Manning was much better than some of the others on that top 25 list.

But like I said , each player was very good during his era, the game has changed so much, it's hard to compair them during the style of play the players play today.

Some of them could still be dominate, Russell, Chamberlin, Alcindor, etc.

I agree as a college player, Magic blossomed after college, as did Michael Jordan. They did have talent, but on a college level they didn't perform as they did on the pro level.

Some college players performed better and never blossomed in the pros.

Magic Johnson was incredible at Michigan State.

Had he played four years he may have been top 5.

This list is BS because there are less than 25 KU players on there.

That he was, just he was a better pro player than he was in college, and that's saying alot....

Like I said, many of good college players either fizzled or never really adjusted to the pro level.

I'm not old enough to remember this, but for what his team accomplished it seems like david thompson should be higher too.
