The good thing is that Denver can count 1/2 of his origianl $7M signing bonus back towards their cap. The bad thing is they can't do that until they receive the money from Dale.

Something tells me that he no longer has $3.5M laying around... so, Denver will never see that money. Wonder who the Raiders will shoot for next, they really wanted him for a FA CB.

Okay, I must admit that I am enjoying this more than is appropriate.

I remember Predominantly Orange Homers hooting about luring Carter away from KC. I remember them arfing that Carter was the key to an invincible D. I also remember telling them in all honesty that they would regret taking the bonehead onto their team.

I did the happy dance when Carter left the Chiefs and I did the extended mix happy dance when he went to Denver and ate up a chunk of their money.

So, please excuse my impoliteness when I say this:

HA!

Oooh! That felt pretty good…

xoxo~

Too smug for words.

Dale Carter was given physical skills that most of us only possess in dreams. Because of that gift, he was handed a salary that makes many of our annual incomes look like the stuff you find buried in the living room couch. After all of that, he's still too stupid to keep his hand off the pipe and his nose off the straw. Pathetic.

Bob Dole is glad to see a professional athlete finally being held to the standards and expectations that apply to the rest of us every day of our working lives. Dale Carter deserves to wonder about his future.

When you said he is a loser I thought that maybe he signed with the Raiders, but oh well...

He was never the same after he blew out his knee in the collision with the photographer. When the Donkeys were gloating about signing him I mentioned this fact and they all laughed. Turns out not only had he lost a step, he was a bonehead too. So, HA! HA!.

This story is just tragic. All of you should be ashamed of yourselves for basking in the glory of a former Chiefs downfall.

It's not like the Broncos fans came onto this site to point fingers at us saying "We got Dale, and your defense sucks!!"

Well, I guess they did do that...

It's not like the Chief fans didn't warn them about Dale's problems off the field as well as on it.....

Um, I guess we did warn them, didn't we? ;)

OK! Now that the Broncos have learned their lessons about signing former Chiefs that have cancerous pasts, we should commend them for re-examining their FA acquistions this season. It's not like they signed Chester McGlockt.......

...You've got the be kidding me!!!!!

Just when I thought you were developing an attitude problem, you go and do us proud! Great post!

Mi-Chiefs-fan,

My "tude" comes out when anybody disses thd Chiefs without merit. That includes fellow AFC West fans and a few "Chiefs" fans who sport NFC colors.

It's a shield I've worn in Cali my whole life when being exposed to Raider Nation on a 24/7 basis.

Someone has to "represent" when you're outnumbered in the visitors stadium and/or the local watering holes...

Weren't you the only "Chiefs" fan agreeing with Falstaff's "Chiefs have no love" thread?

I'm so glad that Bowlen only wants players with good character.

I wonder how long it will be before that quality character, Leon Lett joins Dale Carter on the suspended list.

Just take a look at the defense and you'll see not only Lett, but Glock, Eric "I need at least $5 million or I'll die" Davis, and the list goes on...

It really looks like last years Redskins, minus the character and integrity of Bruce Smith and Darrell Green.

MCF,
Unless I'm mistaken, Injun was being sarcastic and facetious in that thread.

Dartgod,

You need a picture with a wider angle.

I'm sure there's a yellow hankie on the field somewhere....

Did someone say 6 in a row?!?!?!

htismaqe

awesome pic...but more appropriate would have been Dale limping off the field after he got burned like that...because he "tweaked his hammy"...
