Why not keep it? That one or your new one could be the beer fridge in the basement/garage.

That's a thought, and probably what I'll do if I have to. But I don't even have a place yet, and there's no guarantee I'll find a place with either a garage or a basement.

As much as I like having two refrigerators, I don't really need two.

Actually, neither one of us want to sell it. But we don't want to move it across the country, either.

my girlfriend is at home and will be measuring to see if it would fit in our kitchen where our current fridge is. She will call me shortly. If it fits we may have a deal. :)

I'll let you know in a little bit...if it's still for sale???????????????????????????

Hmmm? I have one in the kitchen and the man beer fridge full of beer in the shop. I may be able to use a third in my office. The walk to the shop is a long way. Do you deliver to Montana? :)

You must be a craigslist n00b. You need 39 "bites" on CL, 20 appointments, 7 promises of their first-born, 6 verbal agreements, 5 checks in the mail, and $700 cash in hand before anything is sold there.

If it were stainless, I'd trade you my white one for it and throw in $200 to boot. You'll probably even pass through town during your move. But its not stainless.

Sorry, just replied to the message, but for $400 it's not for sale. It's worth more than that, and if I have to I'll move to South Carolina.

You're moving across the country?

Are you sure it's not cheaper to move the fridge (along with all your other items) than it is to sell it and purchase in your new city?

Thats kinda what I was thinking. Fridges are expensive as hell new- but used drop down pretty fast. I sold my 2nd one for $75.00 and now the one in my house is acting up. :shake:

I have the worst luck with appliances. :doh!:

The places I'm looking to rent already have a fridge... the thinking we have is we've got a dollar amount in mind. If we don't get it, we'll move the fridge with us.

We'd like to get rid of it, but we're not willing to take a huge loss on the fridge. We'll keep it before we do that.

My luck it would fall out of the truck one block from my house. Anyways, cash is cash-so if you change your mind-let me know. The longer you keep it-the less it is worth unfortunately. My last fridge was only 6 years old and nearly perfect-and I coldnt even get $100 in the paper, friends, or a garage sale.

Best of luck with the move-you will LOVE NC-that place is incredible!!!

Good luck to you, too. Not worried about depreciation. It'll get used if I move it... no big deal to me.

I hope SC is as incredible as NC. :)

I guess it's all the same... I'm only like 30 miles from the border.

My experience in selling fridges is that they're not worth much used.

When we moved from our condo to our home, I sold our $700 fridge for $250. When I sold the existing fridge in the home, I got $250. It just seems that most people aren't willing to fork out much for used refrigerators (at least out here).

Hopefully, you'll do better. Good luck with the move!

The one in my home was very nice-and the owners left it for an extra $100 at closing. The one in the garage-I made payments on that for god knows how long-and had to dump it.

We were only $100 off-maybe a case of beer would sweeten the pot. :D
