Yep but the deeper you go the better guards you will face...

KSU will go as far as their guards will take them....

You think the guards they faced tonight were subpar compared to what's down the line?

Two when Walker decides to play like he did tonight.

Three if you count Pullen. That kid has been the difference in several of teir big wins. He's a spark for them like Collins is for KU, aggressive on the drive and not afraid to take a shot.

Yeah he's aggressive. But one thing he's got to learn in a hurry is to know when to be aggressive. With about 2 minutes left and Cat's up 10, he drives to the lane with about 30 seconds left on the shot clock. He misses the contested shot and USC gets the rebound. He's got to learn to run clock there.

Nice win Cats. Coach Martin did a nice job handling Beasley with early foul trouble. Walker had a nice game also.

Yo, I was cheering big time for KSU. I would NEVER do that for MU. But, I would REALLY like to see KSU beat Wisconsin and Georgetown, and play you guys in the Elite 8. That would be mega.

And that is what it comes down to; Beasley cannot be expected to single handedly win every game. Basketball is team sport - if you live by one player you will die by him too. KSU wins when other members of the team step in to fill the void created by the opponents attempt to neutralize MB. The problem is they do not do that on a consistent basis. You never know which team you are going to get. One night we can play with any team in the nation, the next we are back to the bad old days of the 90's and early 2000s.

I hope like hell the world beaters show up against Wisconson. But I'm not holding my breath.

Congrats, Kitties. I picked them to win in my brackets. ;) They came through. I thought they were better than an 11 seed, despite how they played down the stretch. Good luck Saturday.

and thats different how than all the KU posters in this thread making backhanded compliments and taking shots at KSU and MU?

And Lawrence doesn't necessarily equate to KU.
