Went last year. Grabbed a standup table with one of the sports talk guys standing there, and this guy said it was IN THE BAG that we'd trade Trent to Miami for a 4th during the draft...y'know, he had those connections with peope inside the Dolphins organization... dumbass.

Anyway, if you wanna buy cheap Chiefs gear, it's not too bad as they close out alot of stuff in the corner. Picked up a nice leather jacket for $65.00.

I prefer to laugh at our draft picks in the comfort of my own home

I go with a couple friends every year and I love it.

There's a lot of downtime though so make sure you bring friends you can tolerate for one-on-one conversation.

I took my son and a couple friends last year for the first time. We enjoyed ourselves very much. There was a BBQ buffet but they're not having that this year. It was cool to see a couple of the players and all the cheerleaders signed my son's swimsuit calendar! I'll second the good deal on some of the closeout gear. I believe it will become an annual tradition for my son and I.

I don't remember a giant screen or anything, but there were some TVs around to watch it. They announced each pick as well.

If you go, take a huge box of tomatoes and alot of eggs to, you'll need something to throw when they **** up atleast 1 of the picks.

That would make it the best draft in 20 years.

By closeout gear do you mean like Boomer Grigsby jerseys?

How about an actual NFL playbook?

Solari didn't have any use for his.
