Put strings/rope over the water, it will stop every bird from eating your fish.

Dude there are Herons everywhere down here, mostly by small bodies of water. They scare the shit out of dogs.

Here's the deal.... herons won't eat fish from a pond that they can't wade into. Sloping sides, steps, ledges in a pond = heron problems. Sides that go straight down & are deeper than a heron can stand in = no heron problems.

So if I want to blast the shit out of a few Heron...I should get a pond and fill it with cheap fish?

I came in here anticipating comedy gold from the antics of your latest heroin bender.

Boy was I disappointed.

I need to read headers more carefully.

9mm parabellum would seem like a good solution

I whacked one last fall with my .22. I was tired of watching him eat bluegill and crappie all day. Those things have a real narrow head and even though it was pretty big, it only weighed like 3 lbs. I didn't know they were endangered? Good to know I didn't kill the last one.

popped one out of my pond a couple years ago...not even enough meat on it to know if it tasted like chicken.
