At least we play a lot of teams that suck so we should at least be in most games.Yeah, it's not a bad schedule. There's not all that many games that aren't 'winnable', it's almost a question of which team will out-suck the other.

At the stage the Chiefs are, I'll take a competitive 6- or 7-win team that's in most of their games.

Fine with me. They wont face a team that good the rest of the season. Take their licks in early, see what top competition is like and then learn and improve the rest of the way. :thumb:

Pre-draft and other additions to the team I see us at 5-11. I think the winnable games are Oakland (x2), Atlanta, Miami, and then stealing a game from either SD or Den. We could just as easily drop some of those and pull a surprise against a team we don't expect to beat (ie. Cincy, Minn last year).

They didn't top 40 against everyone last season. Even dogsh!t teams like the Jets held them under 40. Assuming we do the smart thing in the draft and take Ellis, I like our chances of getting after Brady a bit and giving up "only" 35.

The schedule looks pretty good, too bad we have a crap team this year or else I would be very excited about this schedule.

Which home game do you think we have the best chance of winning? Tennessee, Tampa Bay, or New Orleans? I'm going to go to my first game at Arrowhead this year since I'll be attending Mizzou, so I need to find a game that will give us a remote chance of winning.

I don't know about 0-6. I'd say 1-5 at worst and 3-3 at best going into the bye. I think we can win at least one of the Oak/Atlanta games. They're both as bad as we are.

Didn't Oakland beat us last year at home and that is with a fairly veteran team. Atlanta we could beat but since it is on the road I think we definitely could lose that game.

I think we'll win at least 1 of our first 3 games. I hope we win in ATL since I'll be there, but overall this schedule might allow this team to win more games than we should.

Most years this is a 10-11 win schedule easily. Which is good for how young we'll be, I'm glad we're not loading up on the league powerhouses this year.

0-16 is a strong possibility with this schedule. Any optimism or hope the Chiefs might have entering the season will be quickly destroyed by the Patriots. I don't see the Chiefs recovering from the beatdown that will be applied by the Patriots in week one.

This schedule might finally put an end to the Dictator Carl Reign of Terror once and for all. It feels like the Soviet Union, circa 1991.

I know I'm the planet optimist, but come on...our defense is too good and our team flat out WILL NOT be worse than last year...and we have a much easier schedule.

I won't predict our W/L until after the draft...but if we land Dorsey or Ellis, our defense is going to be a top 10 defense...plain and simple.

How can anyone think we could be worse than last year?

Top 10 defense?? Perhaps you should get your head out of Huard's rectum long enough to get a clue. You aren't a "top 10" defense when your #1 corner is a washed up Patrick Surtain, you aren't a "top 10" defense when your best player on defense is likely to hold out the entire offseason and preseason, you aren't a "top 10" defense when your LB corp (the alleged strength of the defense) consists of an inconsist former first round draft pick and a bunch of journeymen and perhaps most imporantly you aren't a
"top 10" defense when your defense continues to be led by Goonther, a defensive coordinator who hasn't fielded a great defense in over 10 years.

And you certainly aren't a top 10 defense when your anemic offense leaves your D on the field for 3/4's of the game.
