Cool website with nutritional information for a TON of restaurants.

Some of the sit-down places are mind-bogglingly horrendous.

If you're fat and you eat out on a regular basis, you have a good place to start with a diet. That site is one of the best for fast food calories.

I looked for a Big Bucket meal at KFC (that was lunch today). I calculate that to about a billion calories and 5 gazillion grams of fat. But it was good, and the only thing like that I'll eat this week.

It looks so much scarier when they don't put it in reasonable servings, just like food companies/producers/restaurants make it look much better by putting it in incredibly small servings.

They do. Look up a slice of pizza. Or cheeseburger. It's mostly portioned for you. It's very clear too, the site is very good.

On that bloomin' onion, divide by 6 and it still has an unreasonable amount of saturated fat considering it is just an appetizer.

Hell, 6? 2 or 3 people might split one.

Exactly the point I was making. Even making an unreasonable assumption, it contains an unreasonable amount of sat fat.

They need to make a "Super Size Me" for the sitdown restaurant industry.

I dunno, I haven't weighed myself, but I suspect I haven't lost all that much because I've been weight training every other day for a month now.

I'd like to be under 200 as I'm 5-11. But I'll take buns of steel as a consolation prize.

Hmm, an entire 14" 3-topping pizza from papa john's with garlic dipping sauce, ranch dipping sauce, and 2 cups of cheese dipping sauce is 3,360 calories. I'm stunned, I thought that was a healthy meal!

If your goal is to lose weight, why wouldn't you take a measurement and set a target weight for loss?

Because I'm not planning on stopping. I'm going to keep exercising until the day I die.

I did weigh myself at the beginning and I was 270 pounds.

BTW, what is you avi? It looks like some sort of barry bonds flaxseed oil?

Hmm, according to that site I could eat 30 Rice Krispie treats a day and still be eating healthier than 1 bloomin onion. Maybe I'll mix it up somedays and eat 10 snickers bars instead.

I've seen that joker on BBC over here. His approach is real effective. It boils down to "eat less, exercises more".

I should really write a book.

I used to say the same about the guy your replying too. Well his comment, but **** diabetes and all that shit. Shit runs in my family. My Grandmother, my dad. I have no choice unless i wanna shoot myself with insulin every day for the rest of my life. Right now i am just eliminating fried foods all together. I mean once in a while i will have some, but now no more refried beans, its just regular cooked beans. Hell, i am Mexican so beans are like everyday for us. lol

Trying to lose weight sucks. I mean i dont mind the working out part, but eathing healthy sucks dong. Whoever says different is fooling themselves.

Saggysack

You can buy non-fat refried beans and reduced fat refried beans(no lard).

Don't give up heavenly goodness. There is alternatives.

There are plenty of less to no fat refried beans that you should be able to find at the grocery store. For ones that actually taste good Amy's organic makes some pretty ****ing great cans for refried beans.

1. The Worst Food in America
Outback Steakhouse Aussie Cheese Fries with Ranch Dressing

2,900 calories
182 g fat
240 g carbs

This weapon of mass construction is the caloric equivalent of eating 14 Krispy Kreme doughnuts, before your dinner arrives. Even if you split this "starter" with 3 friends, you'll have downed a meal's worth of calories.
http://www.menshealth.com/eatthis/20-Worst-Foods/1_The_Worst_Food_in_America.php

 I use to eat these fries like they were skittles, granted one person could never eat it but if you divided it by 4 people, it would still come to 725 calories.

of course at the time I was playing sports constantly and had the ability to eat an entire large pizza by myself and still have a six pack.

I tried one of those bowls once, and it didn't do it for me.

The Big Bucket meal is even worse. That's the one that comes with a thigh, a chicken strip, a small box of popcorn chicken and two sides (I had green beans and corn on the cob, so I'm not entirely suicidal...).

I have trouble deciding what to order, so I just go for everything. LMAO
