They think they can win with Tavaris Jackson. :)

We think we can win with Broadie Croyle. :shake:

They got Samie Parker, now they got Eddie Royal
Royal's not a bad pick. Just wondering why Denver is loading up on WR's?

They think they can win with Tavaris Jackson. :)

Considering their line and TRich he'll have all the time in the world this year and a defense to back him up.

I wouldn't be shocked to see him beat Brodie stats, handily...

I'd be thinking real hard about trading up for Groves right about now.

we're within range...a third would get us there

RB out of Tulane. So Grossman's going to hand it off every play this year.

Matt Forte from Tulane....

'Hamas' Jenkins

Matt Forte is already the best back on that team. He's gonna be a badass.

How would a third get us there. Maybee two thirds would get us there. Why would somebody trade a second for a third? I must be missing something here.

Nobody wants Brohm or Henne

Now would be the time if we want either of them. The cost is nil and the picks in trade would be of low cost as well (to us, anyway.)

Now's when we can afford to take a risk...:)

For instance:

#76 (3)
#105 (4)
#182 (6)
(327.6)

for Indy's

#59 (2)
#196 (6)
(323)

All three can step in now, and all three have the potential to play at a high level for a long time. If we don't move up and get Brohm, I really hope we take Josh Johnson in the fourth. Nice size (if lacking a tad in bulk), good football IQ with a big, accurate arm, can escape the pocket if need be... he really seems like an interesting prospect that I'd love to see us take a shot at. And after hopefully filling a handful of holes in the third, that would be the perfect time to look for a QBOTF.

Flowers would have gone higher if he ran a 4.4 and that doesn't matter in our defense so it's a really good pick.

According to your board we've milked the league.

I have no disagreement. But as far as pick, value, need, and projection you absolutely have to give the Chiefs an A+.

Production will be evaluated with time but this will be the best monday-after grade ever for the Chiefs. :)

I get the heart thing, but I'd still trade up now for Groves. I think it's too big a risk to assume that he'll fall much further, and I think he's too big an impact player at a position where we're a starter short.

But, hey, we may have someone else targetted, and he might not even be on our radar.

Groves is another smallish guy at 250 who projects out as a LB in the 3-4 and would thrive in the stand up position. Relentless and quick with a smooth backpetal. I'm seeing a lot of projection as a LB. Off field issues and health issues also.

Taking a QB now accomplishes nothing.

Croyle won't be afraid of some 3rd round pick. So was he, there's no money issue or any other motivation there.

And since the money and rounds are equal he clearly trumps the n00b on experiece. Brodie will not feel threatened if we do trade up to pick a guy.

All we'll do is spend for no reason and fail to do anything to motivate the starter...
