His upside: With the right coaching, he could be the best QB in this draft. He has prototypical size, a good arm, and nice intangibles.

His downside:He's slow for a QB in the NFL, gets nervous in the pocket, and doesn't read defenses well. Many times he did the same thing that we bash other QB's for and that is he forces the ball into coverage. He was helped out many times by Tamme (the TE) and Smith (the WR). And BTW, the upsides of "coaching" isn't really an upside....how many QB's have we seen drafted that were labeled as just needing coaching who are nowhere in the NFL. Also, his arm is not that good.

Caldwell to the Bengals.

Two WRs off the board to them. Restocking the cupboard. Now if they hadn't been a tard, they could have offloaded Chad and gotten Mike Jenkins or Mendenhall with the 'Skins pick and another high pick.

Franklin's 6'0, 215 and ran a 4.37. He's made plays and ran a number of different routes in college. I'm not going to criticize this pick, because WR is about as thin as any other position on this team. He was one of, if not the best, WR left on the board.
