Just to piss me off? What's wrong with 11AM or noon?

They took a round out and put it on the 2nd day, they don't want it ending at 5 in the afternoon.

Then people in Cali would have to get up at the ass crack of dawn to watch live.

Remember... people in California are far more important than anyone else in this country.

Yeah but they could have kept the 3rd round today ...

I like the change in time limit, but the later start and moving the third round to Sunday sucks ass.

If the rest of the people out here can't get out of bed early, then **** 'em.

Agreed on all counts.

Because that will push a greater amount of the draft into prime time, ie. why the 1st playoff game has been pushed to not start till 3 CST and the late game at 7.

It's all about the money and TV.

LMFAO

The NFL hates the Chiefs and their fans even more than Carl does.

Another bullsh** compromise for TV ad money.

If more people watched it then they would extend it for a week.

It's actually the exact opposite.

By starting the draft later, more East Coast fans can watch the draft even closer to Prime Time.

With the exception of die-hard fans (such as myself), everyone else is out in the 90 degree weather visiting the shark infested beaches.

Lately dude, I've been going to bed at 3:30am and getting up by 8am.

I guess a newborn will do that!

A perfect time would have been 2ET/1CT/12/MT/11PT.

Other than noon games CST, west coast would be pretty sweet for sports watching. Everything out east would get done early enough where your evenings are free.

Actually, the 10am games are pretty freakin' cool. I roll out of bed (or not), grab some breakfast and begin watching the games.

When I first moved out 15 years ago, I thought it was really weird (after 27 years of KC time). But I quickly realized that a 10am game pretty much frees up the rest of the day to take care of errands, household work or to just go for a walk, a hike or the beach.

I kinda missed the "all-day event" that surround Chiefs games in KC but it is nice to watch the game and still have a Sunday left .

It was downright odd to me to be watching live sporting events at 1am when I lived in Charlotte.
