Only if one's a guard and the other's a center.

Screw that.... we need 2 Centers just in case one is a bust.

We need to create competition after all. :D

We need to create competition after all. Hey! You're on to something I think.

Let's do an innovative multiple center offense so defenses won't know which ones actually snapping the ball.

I'll fooking punch myself in the nuts if KC picks a Guard or T at #5.

#5 has to be an impact player and play at a playmaking position.
#17 and our 2nd round can be used on the OL and I won't give a shite.

I pronounce it differently. I pronounce it "Best player available at 5 and Brohm at 17."

I agree, and I'd love to get an "impact" player at # 5, but I bet we trade out of that spot for more picks...

My guess is that Herm/whoever have 2 guys that they think will be there at number five. If THOSE guys are gone then perhaps there is a chance we trade down...not real likely IMO.

Yes.

There's more talent along the defensive line at #5 than offensive line at #5. The Chiefs need to take the most talented D-Lineman (if available), then choose the most talented offensive lineman at #17.

Dorsey/Gholston/Long/ then Williams/Otah/Albert.

I'd be stoked.

What if the mocks are right and Keith Rivers is available at 17 you have to take him ahead of those OT's right?

Come on Saints - trade up and give us Brown and your #10

Definitely, but I really don't expect that to be the case.

But if it is, there's definitely going to be plenty of offensive lineman available who can start for the Chiefs next season.

There must be something wrong with Brown that the Saints are just so willing to dump him.

No thanks.

Unless it's a special guy, I don't care if we don't get an OL at #17 either.

I think it's entirely possible that the Chiefs draft defensive players for their first three picks (5, 17, 35).

The idiot and uninformed fans would absolutely go apeshit.

Good times.
