Overall: Robinson didn't just play as a freshman; he started at wide receiver and was named the MVP of the Aggies' offense and special teams. In his first three seasons (2004-'06), he played in 34 games (21 starts) and compiled 123 receptions for 1,845 yards (15.0 average) and 16 touchdowns. In 12 games (11 starts) as a senior, he had 55 receptions for 640 yards (11.6 average) for five touchdowns and ranked eight in the nation in all-purpose yards per game (193.1). For his career, Robinson had 35 rushing attempts for 165 yards and a score; 78 punt returns for 1,104 yards and four touchdowns; and 110 kickoff returns for 2,725 yards and four TDs. Robinson doesn't have prototypical size or top-end speed but he appears faster than his 40-time would indicate because he tracks the ball fairly well and he's a north-south runner. His big-play ability as a return man

There may be bigger names in college football, but the statistics prove it - there isn't a more consistent big-play threat in the country than Robinson. At the end of the 2007 season, Robinson became the NCAA career all-purpose yards per play record holder with a 16.16 average on 6,479 career yards in 401 plays. Robinson, or "K-Rob," is a very good athlete with the blend of initial quickness, acceleration and top end speed to help an NFL team early in his career as a receiver and return specialist - a position from which he has generated nine scores on a combination of punts and kickoffs - including one during the East West Shrine Game.

Remember Joe Horn was no college football star. This guy might be a gamer. I'll bet Croyle is high-fiving somebody today.

he can come in and compete for WR/KR duties, but Im thinking Ean Randolph.

4.69? That's not very inspiring for a WR/ KR.

I like this pick for a 6th rounder, to potentially have nabbed a solid KR, sounds good to me.

Don't let clock speed fool ya. Full pads game speed when guys are trying to knock you down speed is what matters.

If this guy can get the job done as a punt returner then I'm happy. Other wise I would not like this pick.

You have to look at quickness, if he projects as a returner/3rd or 4th guy he wil use quickness to separate much more than straight speed.

No crap. Actually since we have 12 picks all of our picks should run sub 4.5..

:D

I'm thrilled and I still think we are going to land a center in round 7

So this guy is our punt returner, and Charles is our kick returner? I'm good with this.

Oh, I'm not throwing a fit nor even complaining- this looks to have been a great draft. It's just a bit tricky to get my mind around the fact that our new 6'7", 270 lb. tight end runs faster than our potential KR.

so what you're saying is after watching this year if he's good you support this pick and if he sucks you were against it the whole time

When you watch those Youtube clips that 4.69 doesn't seem to be a problem. There wasn't anybody catching him. He looked like the fastest guy on the field. I keep waiting for the Chiefs to make Chiefs draft day move, but I don't have a single complaint. Hopefully they'll take two more O-linemen in the 7th for depth, a diamond in the rough, or a project with tools. Couldn't be much happier.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say Herm had alot more say with Clark being in the War Room than Carl or Bill. Either that or this is a blind squirrel thing with Carl. I saw that clip with Ditka and the Ricky Williams hair when Bill traded all of New Orleans picks away for Ricky. Throw in giving Vermeil whatever he wanted for five years, and t's not hard to figure out why we've drafted so bad for so long. Now with Gretz gone that is just another sign to me that Clark is taking over and just letting Carl save face and ride out his contract as a talking head.

He may not be overly tall, but what he lacks in hieght he makes up for with speed any O-lineman would be envious of.
