And this is why you're contributing to a bulletin board and not a draft board.

I can say, without much hesitation, that your picks suck harder than our actual ones.

You think the Chiefs should have picked Booty in the 3rd?

We should've traded our entire 2nd day for Rich Scanlon.

Yep.

You were pissed about Bowe last year, so there's no doubt, you have your finger on the draft pulse.

In defense of Roy, he has as many playoff wins to his credit over the last 14 years as Carl Peterson.

I'm almost exactly the opposite, except we agree on Morgan, good pick. Only Franklin and Richardson do I not like at all.

I disagree strongly. I was a little disappointed w/ some of the choices until they landed Barry Richardson.

All these picks have been good value thus far, and with exception of Will Franklin, I'm pleased. I don't see too much out of Franklin's #'s, and a Mizzou fan said he drops a lot of balls. His speed though, could put him in a Bernard Berrian position, a deep threat who drops a lot of balls, but when he catches them, they are big plays.

Kevin Robinson should be a great late round pickup for return man.

I'll say this much: the Chiefs wanted to Draft five or six immediate starters in this Draft, and they spent their entire 3rd round on guys who will back up the incumbent starters.

I guess they just want to expand what being a "starter" means. Maybe they were including special teams.

Yay! Draft for need! Woo-hoo.

:shake:

Here's just a few comments to the contrary:

10. (73) Kansas City Chiefs (http://www.sportingnews.com/nfl/teams/chiefs/index.html) - RB Jamaal Charles. Taking Charles protects the Chiefs in the event Larry Johnson never returns to his former glory. Charles is an excellent athlete with tremendous instincts and vision, but he must overcome fumbling issues and durability questions to reach his potential.

13. (76) Kansas City Chiefs - TE Brad Cottam. The Chiefs continue their outstanding draft here by grabbing the most physically gifted tight end in the draft. Cottam has the size, hands, speed and receiving skills to be a special player, but he must stay healthy -- something he never did in college.

19. (82) Kansas City Chiefs - S DaJuan Morgan. Chiefs officials considered Morgan earlier and are grateful he fell to them in the third. Morgan, a junior, offers the athleticism, instincts and athletic ability to challenge for a starting job as a rookie.

Chiefsplanet generally isn't very sentimental right after a Chiefs loss. :D
