View Full Version : Chiefs So, now that it its all over, how do you feel?

Now that the Draft is over, I would probably give the Chiefs a solid B. They picked up some great talent and some players that will be, let's say...."Special Needs."

How do you feel about it over all?

Poll forthcoming.

Not quite over yet.

And... it's a solid A, IMO.

No thanks on the poll. I already have one in my pants from this draft.

WE HAVE ONE MORE PICK.

Plus we're going to have two boatloads of UDFA.

As of now, I didn't like our first day (don't start, I've already got 20 folks riding me in the Draft forum), but our second day has been stellar.

If that's a 'B', what's an 'A'?

If what happens in UDFA is what I think and they got alot of the best UDFA guys because they think they can make this team it will be a great first step, it is anyway honestly.

Dammit, I've had my poll thread cued up for an hour, but was waiting on the last pick.

Well, maybe this is the "overall" one.

We should've drafted 8 lineman to all block for Crody Broyle at the same time

I hate to admit it but I think that the Chefs won out. They did good on their selections. Those Bastards! Welcome to my world, Utah State ranked #117 out of 119 D-1 schools. Our only bright spot, Kevin Robinson, who just got drafted by the Chefs, this really hurt. Oh well one day we celebrate K-Rob, now we just hate him

KC had the best draft in the league, cannot deny it.

I thought the 1st day was pretty darn good.

The 2nd day had its frustrating moments for me and it all pretty much focused around the O-line.

I mean we're still not sure if we drafted a Tackle. That's frustrating. We drafted one Guard who could play Tackle and one Tackle who could play Guard.

Having said that, I like the Richardson pick as I think he'll work his way in as a starting Guard for us and I'm just hoping that Albert takes to the Tackle position really well.

If he doesn't, he'll move to Guard and we'll be looking for OTs again next year.

Easily A+.

If you're not giving the Chiefs an A+, I just don't think you realize how dominant Glenn Dorsey is.

I don't remember a better one top to bottom. With as many picks as we had can you imagine what 13 picks 4 or 5 years ago would have looked like???

Equals out to a pretty dang good B, which is way more than I expected out of these two clowns.

I thought Carr was a bit of a reach. A relative unknown that I thought we could've nabbed later. (IMO)

Cottam looks good and should be able to take Dunns place but I though that there were other glaring needs that could have been addressed. I really do think that our D will be freakin dominant this year if we can bring a DE up that could get 8-10 Sacks this year and apply pressure around the edge.

I know that we're rebuilding and I am elated with this draft. A lot of young talent that we should be able to bring along quickly.
Day 1: A+++++++
Day 2: B-

I hope they prove me wrong and we have 9 pro-bowlers this year.
