Gawd I hate that network. I don't get the NFLN but have not be a huge fan of them either.

But what is with them having a camera at that stupid kids house. Oh sure he has some wheels but I don't give a shit and its just ESPN's way of trying to increase a players value. It didn't work, but it reminded me of the year they had Ashly Lelie have some stupid journal and the Broncos thought he was some kind of steal.

I also don't think we need 12 guys behind the set. I hate Meshawn and Cris Carter. I enjoy Jaws and Mort would have liked more player interviews or team news throughout the draft. Hell call the local team reporters, that would be interesting.

The round table today sucked ass too.

Cris Carter was entertaining.....

It could be worse they could have had Emmitt up there saying weird shit getting everyones name wrong.

I said yesterday that I would enjoy the draft more if they just had Kiper and someone like Trey Wingo sitting at a card table analyzing each pick as it was announced.

ESPN is trying cater to the casual fan, but it doesn't come off well.

The roundtable was horrible. I said it at the time, the little whiny white dude sitting in the middle reminded me of Ryan off The Office. As in condescending and generally annoying. The other guys weren't so bad, but he dragged the whole thing down.

I take it back they should have had Emmitt on.

I love this pick Darrell McFadden he'll run for 2000 yards every week.

The day they succeed in getting the casual fan to watch the draft...well, I can't think of any way they could pull that off so never mind.

Charley Casserly was an AWFUL GM I don't see how they can have him on and act like his opinion means something.

i am pretty sure i heard him bragging about when he was GM in washington and he traded a first, second, and 3rd for brad johnson  he thought it was great because they made the playoffs that year.

Cris Carter was good I thought. Entertaining and much better than Irvin or Keyshawn. Jaws is always good. Mort is better reporting what teams are doing and want, not giving his opinions on picks or arguing. I didn't think the round table was that bad but they should have saved it for after the draft not during when there's picks to be talked about.

Overall I wish I had NFLN. Mayock>Kiper by miles.

I agree with you on Mort. He just seems awkward when trying to argue a point or analyze a topic. They should just stick him in the back and go to him when he has some news or rumors about a certain team.

It just seemed to jumbled this year with ten guys at the podium, that dumb roundtable, and another podium with Tirico's crew.

You guys like Jaws....

I about lost it laughing when he said

IN THE NATONAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE about 3 times in 90 seconds.

ESPN is a joke now. I remember when I first started watching in the early 90's; it was great. Their schtick and personalities have grown old and become saturated. It appears their solution is to bring in former players as 'analysts'. I can honestly say, for the first time in my years watching the draft, I did not see 1 second of ESPN coverage. Both TVs in the house were on NFLN.

Mayock owned Kiper; Eisen is way more polished than Berman and not nearly as annoying. Marshall Faulk is suprisingly atriculate and enjoyable to listen to.The only thing that would make NFLN coverage better if they stole Jaws away from ESPN; got rid of Deion Sanders, and removed Schefter (considering he anoucning the pick before the commissioner; that seem to suck the wind & excitement out of some of the more interesting early picks)

Awful is an understatement.

If GM's were generals he'd make Peterson look like Rommel.
