Calculated using only players:

a.) That we have on our roster.
b.) Are actually signed or drafted.

I did not include:

a.) Any RFAs who have not been resigned.
b.) Any UFAs we have not resigned.
c.) Any players released.
d.) John Carney, as he is unlikely to last the offseason.

I didn't do any fancy math (calculating days and months), I just took 2008 and subtracted the player's birth year.

A couple years ago we were at 30 years of age.

Now we're below 26 years of age. Before we pick up however many UDFAs.

Now, the real test: will they play the youngsters?

If guys like Flowers, Morgan, McBride, Franklin, etc. aren't starting or getting serious playing time from day one, I will be pissed.

In three days, it will be 25.93. That's going in the wrong direction. WE NEED TO GET YOUNGER, NOT OLDER!

That's incredible.

Wasn't it like 32 or something in 2006?

He does have the occasional drop, but I've seen him make some circus highlight-reel catches too. (The catch along the sidelines against CU comes to mind.) I don't think he'll ever be a #1 receiver, but he's got a good shot at being a solid #2.

(We seem to have our #1 already anyway :))

Use your method and do the Pats roster. Just for a point of reference.

Does anyone know about Barry Richardson. He doesn't seem to have a very long list of negatives.
he looks like a monster.

he looks like a monster. The worst thing I've read about him is that he doesn't seem to have a mean streak... they mention his lack of passion for the game. Everything else seems to be there.

Yea that's all i've found. That surprises me. Usually someone with his measurables, that falls that far, has a much longer list.

Weird shit happened, Justin King in most years is a high 2nd round pick at worst.

I think we should sign a handful of infants to keep the curve down.

We drafted Barry Richardson with our 6th? Props to Mecca for actually drafting him in our CP mock draft.

I bet his passion for the game goes up now that he actually gets paid for playing as well... also no school to stress over since it appears he actually tries to use his brain.

There was a story that came out the other day about the youngest rosters. Surprisingly, the Chargers were the youngest at 26.0. So you guys took that distinction from us.
