Per Chiefs website.

Lets hope he is the 2nd coming of John Alt and not John Wellborn

It was pretty apparant Welborne shouldn't have been in the league in the first place, his pay checks were thanks to the needle.

sweet, but was it my imagination or did Albert seem grumpy during his interviews?

Albert thought he had a chance to go 5th, he dropped lower than he could have imagined, he was probably angry because he lost alot of money.

If you thought you were going between 5-10 then went 15th you'd look pissed to as you just lost about 13 million dollars.

Yeah, I loved last year when after every pick they would say "Brady Quinn just lost X amount of dollars."
Of course Albert was upset. He said in his interview that he knew he was projected higher than 15. But on the other hand, he did sound happy that both the Eagles and Chiefs wanted to trade up for him.

thanks KcMizz

Mecca, i understand that school of thought as well but...its fricken Dorsey its not like we reached for our #5 pick. Also during the interview he said he was happy they traded up spots to get him b/c it showed how much KC wanted him.

im sure its a mixture of Stress and spot being picked but the reason i asked was i hope he doesnt come in with bad emotions. he got picked b/c we wanted him and have faith and he should kick @$$

Perfect. Being angry and losing money can be a powerful motivating factor.

Nah he isn't pissed at anyone, just how it broke out. If I thought I might go 8 spots higher than I did that early I'd be angry, that is a ton of money to lose.

That may be how he is all the time. I don't know how often we get an opportunity to see a UVA guard interviewed on ESPN, so it's hard to tell.

If he's that self-confident, that can only be a good thing for an OLT.

but on the bright side knowing that KC's been f'd every which way but loose thanks to Roaf leaving... i think KC wont have issues "showing BA the money"

Dude, if you lose 13 million, you ARE GOING to be PISSED. I know I would be, and my mindset will go "All right, that's it. I'm calling out those teams that passed over me, and I'm gonna dominate their asses."

Not only did he drop to the fifteenth pick, but he also is his team's second draft choice. That won't help the financials either.

Maybe so, but the Broncos is the major party responsible here. They did select Clady over him, which I think is a mistake. Also Williams went over him as well.

im hoping Hunt can give some sayso in it....i mean hell we wanna grow our own QB right? i gaurntee you thats dam near impossible if you have a revolving door in place at LT...i mean if our Roaf repls would have just went into a fetal position while diving into the D-lines legs we would of done a better job keeping Croyle off his ass :shake:

I dont know if he every thought it was going to happen. I think he just knew there was a good chance he may end up doing that. Didnt happen. Perform well and you will get a nice 2nd contract.

They should allow Dorsey to wear a 3 didget number, but 72 will work just fine.

I don't think he wants 252.

Numbers are subject to change up 'til the final cut anyway...

I saw a clip when albert was drafted he smiled and had a sigh of relief as well and gave a five to his dad...

It was something i didnt see otherwise cause it seemed to look like he was poed the whole time right after he was drafted. I saw that footage though i think on NFL network

I really liked that Dorsey looked genuinly happy, and greatfull to be drafted, and to be a chief.
