The NFLN is showing their Top Ten Turnaround teams of all time.

The '99 Rams were #1 going from 4-12 to SB Champs!

Since the Chiefs were 4-12 last year, do we have any takers that the '08 Chiefs can match the 99 Rams?

The only way we could match the '99 Rams is if our starting QB gets a season ending injury, which given his past history.......................I'm just saying.

That Rams team was the exception, not the rule.

Its honestly all on Croyles shoulders. Notice how the teams that had huge turnarounds, how good their QB play was that year? Imagine that.

Kitna would be good for 5 or 6 INTs. Victory would be ours.

Chiefs go 8-8, win tiebreaker against SD and oakland, win the WC round at home against the colts, then beat the jags and steelers and go to the the superbowl and win it against the cowboys.

bet on it.

We are gonna do what the Patriots couldn't, and we will also go down in history as the #1 turnaround.

Doubtful. Nevertheless, anything could happen. The ball bounces funny.

I think it's more likely that we set the record for field goal attempts in the direction of the opponents goal posts.

God I hope not;

1990 5-11
1991 3-13
1992 6-10
1993 5-11
1994 4-12
1995 7-9
1996 6-10
1997 5-11
1998 4-12

So, we'll be ready for a SB run in 2018.

No way.

The Rams were bottom feeders for years, even in Los Angeles. Their roster was pretty deep with talent, they had just chosen the wrong coaching staff prior to Vermeil's arrival (Rich Brooks? WTF?). They also had to deal with moving a team across country, as well as a flaky owner.

Once John Shaw made the Marshall Faulk trade, drafted Tory Holt, signed Trent Green and hired Mike Martz, that team became a playoff team (let alone, Super Bowl team) with all the pieces they already had in place.

The Chiefs aren't that deep or talented as the 1999 Rams.

Yet.

Didin't hurt to have a Hall of Fame LT in Orlando Pace, either.

Yes. Hali will have 28 sacks, and Croyle will throw 41 TD's with only 3 INT's. D-Bowe will have a 2500 yd 30 TD sophomore season.

Expectations should be high. With the draft we had and losing the deadwood we did, and with this schedule a cubscout team might win 4 games. There is no excuse for worse that 8-8.

I can see us winning 8 games, though...it all hinges on Croyle.
