I hear his name tossed about in regards to certain trolls, but what was the transgression that this sorry bastard levied against the Planet, and what was the outcome??

he came to the board slinging $hit. eagle fan if i remember.
he recieved a major dog-pile. members found out he was a lawyer, or worked at a firm. caused him some grief.
someone else might take it from here...

Was he a Philly guy or a Boston guy?
Anyways he was slinging major shit, cursing, scatological, impugning family lineage, the works.
Turns out he was doing it from work.
Someone posted his IP addy, he kept going
Someone posted his name, he kept going
Someone [err . . .] found his Martindale-Hubbell listing, he kept going.
Then at some point he came in apologizing his ass off, as his boss had been notified that he was posting all this stuff from his work PC.

So basically, American Hero could be a synonym for the pantheon of ChiefsPlanet ownage.

Yeah, looking back at the apology thread, an individual poster took it upon himself to forward AH's work to his employer [a move I denounced]. I guess I have some culpability though, as I was the one who took his name, as unearthed by others, and found his attorney profile that enabled that individual to take those steps.
SFAIK, Phobia is the only person who knows [except maybe Morphius] who the phantom e-mailer is, but he's assured us that this person was apologetic and was willing to out him/herself if they had deemed it appropriate.

Oh, and now that you know, consider yourself warned!!!! ;) - totally kidding.

Yeah....some thought that a line was crossed...but IIRC, he was warned numerous times to knock it off, but he kept coming back for more....was told we'd "find" him, but he didn't believe us...and kept coming. In other words, he asked for it...

I wonder how many porn services/white supremacist groups/pedophile websites that dude got "signed up" for.....heh.

"Packfan" was some jerkoff named Ken Deinberg, also from the old Star BB. He posted here for a while, but eventually petered out.

On the old BB, your name would show up, with your screen name in parenthesis behind it, like "Joe Blow (joeblow)." That's why so many of us old timers know each others real names.

The NEPA guy is JD Prez, who runs his BB with a psychotic iron fist. If you ever give this guy your phone number, and EVER disagree with him, expect lots of angry phone calls in the middle of the night. He has posted here occasionally, but the rivalry between the BBs has died down over the past few years.

I actually went to a Eagles bulletin board (can't remember which one) and started talking trash about the Barber signing. I know that looks ridiculous in retrospect but it seemed to make sense at the time. Anyhow, I left a link to Chiefsplanet on my last post and several of those idiots bit including American Hero. I played no role in the ensuing hilarity but did play a role in the guy showing up here.

Sometimes you just gotta wonder, "What if..."

Wow, this is nine years old...

John Proctor (KCJohnny), 01/30/99 12:08 pm (reply 8 of 27)
Gunther will need to treat the preseason like regular season in order to feel out his blindspots and weak areas. It will take a while to develop a rhythm. We stunk it up in preseason last year and it cost us dearly. If Gun gets 10 wins he may be coach of the year. Big Q: who will the defensive coordinator be? I hope it is Herman Edwards of TB.

Heh, looking at the Star BB I see some old Jason Ernzen threads. That guy went around with a "kick me" sign on his back, sort of an early Go Chiefs prototype. Hours upon hours of laughs. I remember a very funny thread that involved him posting from work and getting in some trouble, IIRC. Anybody recall that?
