They keep talking about Ankiels throws last night which were phenomenal. I have to say the best one I have seen is when Bo Jackson threw the guy out at home plate from deep left when he was tagging up. Wasn't very close if I remember correctly.

They were pretty amazing throws. I don't think they are implying that they were the best of all time, but they should be enough to make people think about running on him

No doubt. I wasn't dogging Ankiel I love the way he has come back. May be my next jersey. All the talk just reminded me of Bo's throw.

Oh... my bad.

Yeah, he is supposed to have a lot pop and is supposedly been getting some lessons from Molina behind the plate.

I like Molina too much though so I think he would be a good prospect to trade after he has more value.

Wainwright through 5... 71 pitches. I don't think you let him get to 100 pitches today. Use the bullpen a bit that we saved yesterday. See if he can get thru 7.

85 was easier to deal with. Yeah we had some bad calls in game 6 but we had a game 7 to finish it and got our butts handed to us. We didn't deserve it after that meltdown.

But we were the better team in 87. That one hurt bad.....But we wern't the best team in 2006 yet we still won it all. Maybe it was karma payback 19 years later.

It was rough. I grew up in Jefferson City and always rooted for both teams. They never played each other back then, so it wasn't a big deal. They both made the playoffs and I was thrilled.
