Last I heard Steve is trying to launch a solo career.

Dickey is still touring on his own, saw him last summer and it was great. And honestly, with Derek Trucks replacing him in the Allman Brothers, they sound better than they have since Duane. It's almost better with 2 different great bands to go see.

twas speaking metaphorically. I've seen them twice w/Trucks, and mucho times w/Dickie. I know there are many who feel as you do, but I actually preferred Dickie to Trucks & Duane--more melodic imo. check out Sea Level sometime if you haven't already:
