Hornets

Spurs have gone about as far as they can go this year. If they win, they wont make it past L.A. anyways.

Im a Spurs Fan. Its going to be hard for us to beat New Orleans on the road. We have yet to do it. Tonight is the night though. Chris Paul and his pretenders are done.

I was disappointed in the third quarter performance of the Hornets. I thought that was their chance to get some momentum and close the gap. If they came out of the half and made a couple big shots, the crowd would have been right back in it, and it would have been a closer game. They got great looks (David West particularly), and just ended up missing a bunch right in a row, while Finley nailed a couple 3's and Ginobli made some key shots.

Next series I believe they will. GO LAKERS!!!

BTW I think The ex-laker Byron Scott did one hell of a job there in NO. That team is going to be a contender for years to come.

Kobe's time to take the main stage. He is going to show that he can't be stopped. Hey may shoot 50 free throws a game

I am more concerned about he boards than anything. Kobe will get his. Sure wish they had done Bynums knee right the first time.

LOL off topic, but it seems like every fan but me holds their hands on their head when a big play is made by the other team. My hands are kept to my side or they are being thrown in excitement. I never put my hands on my head. It seems to be the majority universal reaction by fans when their heart is broken.

I prefer to remember the year before at Game 6 when the Staples Center looked like this at the start of the 4th Quarter.

And the Lakers where getting booed out of their own building.

Hey, i honestly thought they had no shot last night of winning.

I still dont think they make it past LA, but who knows? I have renewed confidence now.

I do think they will get slaughtered that first game tomorrow.

Their legs looked seriously tired at the end of the last game. Boards are the key to the series for the Lakers.

I am going on record now saying that I don't think the Celtics get past the Pistons. They are capable of beating anyone with as much talent as they have on that team but if they play Detroit anything like they played the last 2 series they're going home.

San Antonio can be one of the more exciting teams in the league for me. They have a lot of steak shooters that can go off. When they're hitting those threes, when Manu is going off, the Spurs are a fun team to watch. And Tony Parker is fun to watch, he's just an amazing finisher, maybe the best in the league outside of big men.

It should be an interesting series. I don't think Bowen can guard Kobe anymore, he's lost too much quickness, Kobe is going to get in the lane when he wants. But Bowen is going to get a lot of help, he won't be on an island. I think Odom should have a good series, Oberto/Thomas are not quick enough to guard him and he will get plenty of open looks from Gasol and Kobe. But I think the series will come down to whose shooters hit their open shots. Both teams are unstoppable on offense when they're hitting those threes.

I'm a little concerned about how the Lakers played the 1/4 against Utah. Hope Kobe gets healthy.

Correct on both counts.

Although I do find it amusing that the pundits didn't give LA a chance to be here at the begining of the season and the same pundits didn't give SA a chance to be here at the end of the season. LMAO

San Antonio is going to have a hard time dealing with the physical play of the Lakers.

Great, another series where we have to look at the mauled face of Greg Popazit.

LA is playing the hottest play-off ball right now but I can't discount the Spurs' ability to drag down a good opposing offense and make yet another impossibly-boring-to-watch series.

I really hope the refs take the whistles out of their pockets and call what should be called on Bowen, Duncan, et al.

Talent for talent LA should win this one but woulda-shoulda-coulda counts for squat.
