So when can we expect you to move into the assisted living home? I heard they don't have internet access there.

No wonder all those chicks find themselves a firefighter. At least they have a hose that works.

A lot of folks think the 21st birthday is the best one. Not me. My 62nd was the best so far. Money started falling out of the sky. It will be even more in three years when I turn 66. So make your jokes, I'm getting the cash!

Hey, all you young pups take heed. If you're lucky enough to live this long, this will happen to you. It truly did have an effect on me. Holy crap, I'm now living in the twilight of my life ****!!!!! I hope to live till I'm 90 (right) I'm OVER half done. When the AARP sent me a letter it was depressing. My Dad is old, I'm not. I've got years of working ahead of me to retire comfortably, ****, ****, ****!!!!

Ole Mick as right about one thing , it is a drag getting old, however if you are old enough to be an AARP'er you can get senior deals on food and drink and most resturants. Plus you can sit at the old farts club in McDonalds.:thumb:

You are also old enough to remember when the Chiefs went to two Superbowls and wond playoff games.

Bah...I've had my AARP card since 16, they tried to deny it to me saying I wasn't old enough but I just sued them for age discrimination! Down with Ageism!

I was going to start a post about this a few months ago. Nothing made my age hit home more than receiving a letter from the AARP.

Maybe there should be a new sub-Forum created called "The Nursing Home" where old grumpy fuggers can bitch about getting old, and use topics like "I just want to see my team win a championship one more time before I die!" and the youthful posters can point and laugh at the geriatric circus.

You mean the ones that have not been alive long enough to have witnessed the Chief's dynasty? You mean the ones that have not been alive long enough to have witnessed the Royals dynasty?

Gotcha, those are the ones.
